Everything is made out of energy. Energy has the ability to either bring about your prosperity or bring about your destruction. Anything and everything in which you are involved is a product of the energy you put out. It is just as crucial how you contribute to your work environment as it is what you offer. Even if you have a wealth of information and expertise, as well as a long track record of accomplishment, you should be prepared to accept responsibility for the repercussions of approaching a new project, a meeting, a new job, an employee, your supervisor, or a client with infected/negative energy.

Some experts would argue that energy is neither positive nor negative, but rather that all energy is neutral and simply has the power to take on the form that you provide it with. In fact, nothing could be farther from the truth. As a matter of fact, although you do have the capacity to select how you exert your own energy, the ability to avoid confronting other people's bad energy does not always exist for you to exercise. Sometimes it is obvious to observe how people influence you, but there are instances when you may not even be aware of the impact others are having on your life. Acknowledging how events or individuals make you feel may aid in the correction or deflection of negative energy in a situation or person.
As a leader, your enthusiasm can make or break the success of a meeting, a workday, or even the success of your whole organization. Has it occurred to you that, if you have a struggling employee or coworker, you may bear a significant amount of responsibility for their poor performance?
In the event that you have chosen the pleasure and duty of supervising others, what strategies do you use to cope with difficult employees? Negativity spreads like wildfire. It may seem that the most effective way to cope with negative individuals is to just ignore them. It's crucial to note, however, that many individuals are completely unaware of the bad energy that is around them. Alternatively, do you find yourself becoming judgemental of others, or are you open and tolerant of differences and new ideas? Maintaining your rage rather than letting it go is a common practice. Do you like to be happy or unhappy and irritated the majority of the time? Are you a pleasant person to be around?
The ability to see problems is a powerful advocate for change. As a leader, you should be concerned about fostering a pleasant work atmosphere. Take into consideration that you, as an employee, are just as responsible for fostering a pleasant workplace as your supervisor and your co-workers in order to achieve a successful outcome. As a result, by just observing people over the course of the following week, you may get a fresh understanding of the sort of energy that is most prevalent in your department or organization.
Examine your management approach and consider how you might make the process more pleasant, encouraging, and rewarding for everyone involved. Recognize and reward individuals who have made significant gains while mentoring those who are not meeting or surpassing objectives. Positive reinforcement has the ability to shift energy and develop momentum in the direction of your desired objectives very rapidly.

The people with whom you associate in life are a reflection of who you are. Individuals are defined by their interactions in both their personal and professional lives, and this is especially true in the workplace. If you see that the majority of your staff are exhausted, or if your team is having problems achieving objectives and building momentum, you should carefully consider assessing the amount of energy moving through your organization. Never sit around and wait for others to create the pleasant, rewarding, and encouraging atmosphere that you have the ability to create from the start. A positive atmosphere is a healthy environment, regardless of the circumstances.
