Meet Atitmoa

My name is Autumn, artist name Atitmoa.  I am originally from Duval County Florida. I am an Atlanta based artist. I lived in Florida up until I turned 15. In Atlanta I met a group of people that really helped me realize the music thing was possible for me. We began making songs in basements, garages, really wherever we could fit a semi studio type set up. Shortly after I began to learn different programs to record and different recording methods. Branching out on my own I began to build different connections and use my own resources dropping singles and more recently music videos.

Music has been my passion since I could remember my first song. I love what I do because I can say things in music that i wouldn’t be able to in conversation some times. Growing up I wasn’t always the happy person I am today and communication was never my strong suit. That is why my artist name is Atitmoa. It stands for A Trip Into The Mind Of Autumn. I wrote and performed my first ever song in the Second grade and I’ve been tapped into music ever since then. Releasing my first few singles on SoundCloud and eventually branching out to other platforms over time.

My perseverance makes me different. My knowing that dark times don’t last forever makes me different. My mother always told me that if one thing doesn’t work, try it a different way and that has stuck with me my entire life. So much so that it is the very important lesson I will teach my own kids. Everyone believes they have good work ethic, but it my eyes what sets people apart is their ability to fail and try again in many different ways.

In 5 years I want to be making history within the music industry and within my family. Whether it’s hitting charts or accomplishing little goals I never though I would accomplish for myself. I see myself being blessed enough to continue blessing others. The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed.   I also would like to be stable not only in the body, but in the mind as well which is equally important. Working with some of my favorite artists and learning just as much as I am right now.

I want show people that college and social norms aren’t the only way to make it in this world and that you don’t have to stick to one thing regardless of what other people feel you should be doing. There are many people on this earth that are lost and even the smallest impact on how some people view their situation enough to change it brings me happiness. I want to show my little sister that her a current situation is never the determining factor of your destiny. I want to accomplish confluence in order to create influence.

I bring diversity to my industry. Being able to sing and rap isn’t something you come by too often. I know for a fact no one sounds like me that is why I will forever shine on. I do not consider myself as just a singer or rapper, I consider myself to be an artist.

I want to be remembered by what I could do for other people. I want people to recognize me for my humble generosity. My ability to keep going no matter what trials and tribulations I may face. To be remembered as someone who came from humble beginnings and turned her whole families’ life around is something that I really look forward to. Follow me on Instagram
