Manifestation Before It Was a Buzzword:
How I Trusted the Universe and It Delivered
I didn’t have a name for it. I just trusted and believed.
It started in my teenage years—those wonderfully reckless days when the world felt full of possibility. I had a simple, unwavering belief that when I needed something, the universe or God as I thought then, would provide.
It wasn’t a conscious practice. There were no vision boards, no affirmations, no spiritual gurus guiding me. It was just instinct, a feeling deep in my gut and an unwavering belief that all would be ok, that the Universe/God would provide.
And, time after time, my silent requests were answered.
The £10 Phenomenon: When I Wished, It Appeared
I remember it vividly—those small moments of magic that felt so normal at the time.
Whenever I needed money, I’d think to myself, I need £10. No stress, no worry—just certainty. I'd say to myself, or occasionally out loud, "Ok, God I really need this"
Then, as if the universe had overheard me, the money would show up. Sometimes, a last-minute babysitting job would appear out of nowhere. Other times, a forgotten bill in a coat pocket would make itself known. It happened so effortlessly that doubt never had a chance to creep in.
It wasn’t luck. It wasn’t coincidence. It was just how life worked—for me, at least.
I asked. I received. I showed gratitude, always.
Manifesting My Husband in Six Weeks
Most people agonize over love—searching for signs, questioning feelings, and navigating heartbreak.
For me, it was simple.
One ordinary night, out with my parents (yes, unconventional, I know), I met a man who made me laugh. And in that moment, something shifted.
I didn’t analyze it. I didn’t wonder. I just knew, deep down, I knew.
This is him.
Within six weeks, that knowing cemented itself in my soul. I was going to marry him.
And—spoiler—I did!
But here’s where it gets eerie. He wasn’t just any man. He was a DJ.
At the time, my dream job wasn’t the conventional “success stories” society or my parents expected. I wanted nightlife, music, movement and fun. I wanted to dance under neon lights and sleep through the sunrise.
The universe had a sense of humor, it seemed—because not only had I met my future husband, but I had unknowingly attracted the life I had once daydreamed about.

Ibiza: The Dream Job That Almost Was
We honeymooned in Ibiza before it was the clubbing paradise it’s known as today. Back then, the island was different, still beautiful but quieter, undiscovered with a laid back vibe.
And then, fate knocked on our door.
An opportunity arose—one that felt too perfect to be coincidence. At the time, English-speaking DJs were unheard of in Ibiza, and we were offered a job. A chance to live in a place where music and magic intertwined, where my dream could have been my reality.
It was meant to be.
I felt it in my bones. The signs were all there.
But then came the voices. The doubts. The well-intended cautionary tales from others who couldn’t see what I saw. The pressure by parents, who while they loved us, had their own agenda. How could we leave them and move to another country?
And instead of following my gut, I hesitated. I listened to the doubters. We didn’t take the job.
The Lesson? Trust. Always.
That moment taught me something important—something I carry with me even now.
The universe whispers. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t demand. It nudges. It sends signs. It gives knowing.
And the trick is listening. Trusting, and believing that the universe or God always has your back.
No matter how crazy an opportunity seems, no matter how unconventional the path, trust the feeling.
Because when you believe—fully, deeply, unquestionably—life unfolds in ways more magical than you ever imagined.
