Lizzo's weight loss journey is a popular topic right now for people wanting to know how she has been achieving her amazing results with a massive weight reduction! She has mentioned she went from being vegan for 10 years to eating lean meat again and cutting down on junk foods. She also did a lot of physical activity such as strength training, Pilates, walking, and she also sometimes used exercise gloves for certain exercises, as well as strength training shoes. Her body transformation journey didn’t come without challenges. She stated the following, “When I was vegan, I was consuming a lot of fake meat, and I was eating a lot of bread. I was eating a lot of rice,” she said. “And I had to eat a lot of it to stay full. But really, I was consuming like 3,000 to 5,000 calories a day.” Lizzo tried everything, including Ozempic but she quickly found out it's not the direction she wanted to take. She stated, “Ozempic works because you eat less food, and this contributes to weight reduction. That’s it. It makes you feel full. So, if you can just do that on your own and get mind over matter, it’s the same.”
It's truly amazing what someone can do with weightlifting combined with making a few dietary adjustments. There are many other people just like Lizzo that have started making the necessary changes with their food intake and how they approach exercise. Weightlifting may not be for everyone, but it certainly can make a huge difference in most people's weight loss reduction and overall health in the long run! Taking the first step and even just using very light dumbbells can be enough to get people to stick with it. Anyone can start making a difference with just a few small changes. These changes could be walking only a few miles a day, lifting very light weights and cutting out any unnecessary foods. Over time more changes or additions can be made further excelling the growth and progression of someone's journey. There is nothing wrong with trying to mimic one's success and take what they have used to improve themselves to further your own progression and achieve your overall goals. The hardest part for most people is getting started. This is why starting with very small changes is so important. Setting unrealistic goals will also un-motivate most people and cause people to quit and go back to their previous bad habits. Most gyms in the month of January have explosive growth in memberships but when people start weightlifting and their bodies are sore, they tend to quit going into the month of February. This is why taking it slow can help prevent extreme soreness. Lizzo's weight loss success was only achieved by continuing to move forward with both exercise and diet changes over a number of months!
