Little Black Magic

Do you believe in magic? We all did at one point in our lives. The anxious-excited feeling of waiting for Santa to come on Christmas Eve and deliver presents under the Christmas tree. How did he know whether I had been bad or good? How did he know exactly what I wanted? How was it possible he was able to travel around the entire world on the same night and deliver millions of presents on a single sleigh? Magic...we were told. And we believed. Christmas Day we would run to the tree only to be filled with rushed feelings of disbelief, excitement and pure amazement. Magic was real, we had evidence! However, as we grew older...this magic started to fade out of our lives. We learned that Santa was merely a fairytale passed down from generation to generation. We stopped believing in ourselves, the possibilities of miracles.

I write this as a lead-in to my new discovery of magic in my life. And this time, it is here to stay. The magic of my little black book. In this book, I translate my thoughts into reality through divine downloads. Now this may seem like a mystical process, but it is as scientific as quantum physics explains.

I take my pen, close my eyes and allow the pen to run across the smooth pages- automatically. When I open my eyes, I see my thoughts crystalized into physical form on the paper in front of me. By repeating this process over and over again, I build momentum in the quantum field- placing my attention and energy towards building my desired outcome. Before I know it, I start noticing physical evidence of this process coming to life. I play an active part as I am guided through my intuition to take specific action and see my divine design manifest in the 3D world. But these divine downloads are only translatable through my written words in this little black book- the book that holds all of my secrets, desires and dreams. That is the power of this little black book...magic.

I decided to put this little black book to the ultimate test. It had already brought so many wonderful things into my life. Not to mention the immense amount of mind-space and clarity I felt through continuous daily journaling. My next desired manifestation was $20,000- I had no idea how it would come into my life but I believed with all my heart that these funds were mine. I begin by envisioning this amount of money added into my life; feeling the limitless energy of abundance and happiness flowing effortlessly my way. I closed my eyes and allowed my mind and body to connect with this experience. As soon as I felt the goosebumps on my arms prick up, I opened my eyes and scribbled the entire experience in my little black book. I captured every single detail, emotion, graphic I could remember. I wrote on and on, feeling the energy leaving my body, into the pen and onto the paper; into this little black book.

I repeated this ritual daily for 14 days, every morning and every evening. Throughout these 14 days, I was guided to take certain steps in alignment with this goal. I just “happened” to come across a challenge offered by a company called Vocal giving out a $20,000 grand prize for an author/story contest. It seemed in alignment with what I had been working to manifest, so I decided to enter the contest- with no attachment to the outcome. Before submitting my story, I went back to my little black book and re-read my notes. These notes were what inspired me to write my story, a story about magic. On the day the contest winner was announced, I opened my email- and there it was, exactly like I had imagined. A notification I had won the Vocal challenge grand prize of $20,000. Some people may call this luck, others may call it coincidence. I know however, the magic came from my little black book, and a little black magic.
