So... as this is my first post I thought I give some advice to you guys because everyone needs to be told at some point. I am 17 years old and I have been struggling recently and I thought I would share my experience and how to get over it.
Everything is so expensive these days and it can get really tough for young people like me, who are unemployed and are finding it very hard to get a job, there will be three parts to this blog, getting a job, being stressed and how to get through it all.
Firstly, finding a job when you are 16 to 18 can be very difficult, especially when you have no experience, I have applied for so many jobs since I was 16 and not having any experience has made it really hard for me to succeed. It is really important to constantly look online for jobs that are available, so you can be one of the first ones to apply, something that you can also do is print off 5+ copies of your CV, and give them into local stores that you would be interested to work at so they can have a look and contact you if they are interested, sometimes jobs have vacancies, but they don't always put them online so it is a good idea to ask around.
I have become very stressed from always being told 'you need to get a job' or 'when are you getting a job,' also seeing my friends being able to buy they want because they have the money makes me want to succeed like them, you are probably wondering how I get money to do things and this is through my parents, they help me out to make sure that I can have a good time. I haven't been as fortunate as others when getting a job so I have had to search for jobs and try my hardest, I don't want to always rely on my family to give me money. I want to become successful myself and one day be able to treat my family for everything they have done for me. I get really down and stressed when I don't get accepted for any jobs, I feel that I am useless and won't be able to succeed the way I want to.
Lastly, this part will be about getting over this and going with your heart, you should never feel like you aren't successful because there will always be a chance for you. When I get very stressed and down and feel like this I think of all the job roles I could be successful in and what I feel I'll be good at, I know that I am not alone and I have people to help me, so I try to make sure I stay confident. I have always wanted to become a youtuber since I was 13, but I have never had the confidence to go ahead and do it. Now I am 17, I am slowly getting more confident and I know if I put my mind and heart to it then I can succeed.
The point of this blog post is to let you all know that their is always a solution to the problem and you should never feel like you are alone. There will always be a job that is suitable for you, you just have to put your mind to it and be dedicated to succeeding in the role, I hope this helped at least one of you thank you for reading this.
