Life is a broken mirror

See yourself in a hundred forms

Life is a broken mirror with a lot of faces that you'll never wish to see. It is a face nobody wants to see but everyone needs to see. It is a face that is the most real but seems very fake at once. It is a face that you want to ask, "why?". It is a face that you want to hit until it bleeds but it will always utter the same words of harsh wisdom and only the truth, the one we always ignored and brush under the rug. That dirt that was always there yet never exposed will reveal the dust on our own faces and sometimes the ones we love as well.

Like they say, "Life is a ride", but nobody ever mentioned the thrill of it. Is it going to be the best one or the one where we see death so closely that we never want to live ever again? Is it the kind of ride where we scream but smile through those same screams or is it the kind of screaming that can be the reason of our haunted and sleepless nights.

The night is the only best and worst time of our lives. It can never be only one for everyone. It's either best or worst at different points of our lives. The night is the keeper of our pearl like tears. The night not only cover the brightest star we call the sun but also the big large demons we carry on our shoulders. These demons are tricky. They hide in plain sight and can hurt more than a thousands knives slicing our skin. Life can also be beautiful but the ugliness is always more bitter than a life we can call pretty. The bitterness spreads like a virus through an entire village.

Life, if spoken in simple words, is an untamed entity with rulings of its own. It carries itself and can be whatever it wants. It can be ugly if it wants and it can be pretty if it desires. We have no say in it. All we can do is just look at it in the eye and open our mouths to say a million things yet utter not a single word. Life always puts us in spots where we become speechless. If it's too good, we have no words to describe the wonders and if it's too sad, lips don't carry the strength to describe it.

We can do nothing but we can do at least one thing in our defense and that is to keep the faith strong and trust the process like a painter does while painting their masterpiece. A painter is never scared of a wrong stroke but what he does afterwards is what matters and the painter combines all the wrong strokes into a one beautiful imagination that no one has ever seen. Make your life the same way. Don't be scared of one thing that went wrong or just not the way you wanted but now that the mistake is done, try and create something much more pleasing out of it. For this entire process to work, the one key to success is patience. You can never be satisfied when you work in a fast pace. There will always be something that will guaranteed go wrong. Try something more calmer and stress-free. Patience is the beauty in life. One can't enjoy the beauty of sun rise and the calmness of sunset in a matter of few seconds because it is the art that is supposed to be taken in and looked at in a way your eyes has never seen. So, don't be hard on yourself and just take it slow and steady because as we all know that "slow and steady always wins the race".
