Stuck Between a Rock and New Place
It's all-new. And so damn familiar. The sun warms my back, a trickle of well-earned sweat runs the ladder of my spine. When it comes to sport climbing I am still a fetus in terms of experience. I am still covered in the afterbirth of this physical pursuit. And yet, there is that ping of the familiar. An emotional déjà vu.

What Are You Doing?
I went to bed at 7 PM last night, swaddled in an uncomfortable blanket of self-doubt and systemic claustrophobia. I knew I wouldn't get any rest like this, so I popped an Ativan and scrolled through pages and pages of beautiful vintage dresses that I can't afford until I grew weary and passed out.

Despite the Fear
So, what is holding you back? You have that dream job in mind, the draft for your first book is ready, heck, your dance skills are looking smooth but you just can’t take that final step. Why is that? The answer is usually a very simple one: fear.

The Art of Visualization
We all pray, whether it be through thought, through speech, or through body language normally referred to as “worship." Throughout history, there are accounts of miraculous healings, sudden overflows of financial abundance, and so many other supernatural events brought to humans by the power of those who pray.

The Beauty of Impermanence
I learned many lessons while living with Burmese monks and nuns. Some teachings had me in awe. Others caused me to reevaluate my life. Passion is an actor being. Becoming a sailor, traveler, and writer is intertwined with the experience of passion.

The Story of Big Jim
The power went out. Again! I looked out my second story office window and knew exactly why. I could hear the sounds throughout the morning. There was a crew of four men and three bucket trucks stringing power lines along the new poles they had been planting in the front and back yards of my neighborhood the past few weeks.

Good Days with LJ
Everybody reaches a stage in their lives where sometimes finding the good in all things can become somewhat of a tedious task. With social media evolving into a growing platform for body-shaming, cyber-bullying, cultural slander, and just pure negativity, it has become increasingly challenging to plant seeds of inspiration when the very soil that we are lucky to have as a generation is tainted.

What Are You Doing?
I have to admit, things are pretty weird for me right now. I can confidently say that I don't think that even half of the people in my life know what I've been doing lately, and even more than half of the people in my life definitely don't know what I've been thinking about doing lately.
