Isolation...

Something we've all too recently become acquainted with lately..

It can be a heart wrenching experience for some or a sort of welcome friend to others. 2020 has forced change into so many lives where it once was filled with this incessant call for uniformity and strict schedules. However you chose to interpret your predispositions to setting new years resolutions in 2019, I'm sure you hadn't the slightest clue they were to regrettably become nullified and with it, any hope for an exciting year ahead of us as the months passed us by leading into April.

Though this passed years events have seen many tragic events in all forms, happening to people from all over the world, I urge you to sit quiet for a moment and really think about how much we've had the opportunity to accomplish in the form of personal growth. Whether you choose to focus on all the negative circumstances that shaped our personalities this year or not, it has become very evident to me that this change was a necessity as it brought about a mandatory shut down that enabled us to rewire the programs engrained within our day to day lives from many years passed, even stretching generations before us.

We had the choice to take this time to really work on ourselves; our habits, and our negative thought patterns became evident. And for others, well, they acquired the opportunity to reconnect with the intimate parts of their psyche as they isolated; flooding this space that was once clouded due to the busy lifestyles they chose for themselves. This whole new realm of opportunity opened many eyes, yet wrenched tighter those with seemingly restrictive mindsets. This all though is text book theory when looking at historical events passed that shaped many ages and societal norms or lifestyles. Diversity of thought in any given moment has always been the natural law of things when it comes to major shifts in the collectives remodeling of societal conditions. There will always be those so unwilling to let go of the old and embrace the new, for fear of the unknown will surely cause certain demise. Demise maybe not in the formal sense, but in the complete eradication of the ripened self making way for the new skin. Challenging the unknown will always be a frightening endeavor for some as they've become so comfortable in their current state and the ability to unconsciously control their surroundings at any given moment has become a luxury that most aren't aware even exists; so they refute it. Deny any possibility of having complete control over their lives. Only time will tell the story of systematic revision of thought processes worldwide. The important details lie in the conviction of ones beliefs that there is nowhere to go but up from here on out. We are an ever growing vine that continuously assimilates the former, searching for the latest fashion, whether we choose to accept it or not. Embrace the change, atone your previous traditional practices, become fresh.

The purpose of life, I feel, is to figure out what makes you tick and to live according to that tick. Passion is an amazing tool that has been given to us, because it has geared us with the ability to create, and creation is our purpose. To create over and over again, to overcome hardships and create based off those hardships.. And the ever growing individual desire to sober ourselves from the egoist lifestyle is pure manifestation of self. The inevitable future that awaits us is this very action. To recreate ourselves over and over again and to inspire those around us to do the same.

We are one, connected through the finely tuned energies that surround us, but this, we cannot see due to decades of material conditioning. And what we are very unaware of, is that magic exists everywhere you look, you just have to be open to experiencing it. And at the expense of sounding delusional, I will mention that once you stumble across it, boy, does it ever blow your mind. And once your mind is blown, there is no turning back. No regression of self. You arrive at this point in your life where no "inconvenience" you experience matters as though it used to and you begin to see the bigger picture in life. It is such a freeing feeling to let go of all the predispositions that over time have confined you to this materialistic impertinence towards meaningless objects and states of mind. No more balks or chains holding you down. You're free from all the chastising vises this world has imprisoned you with. Freedom of self's own limiting beliefs! imagine it.

So with this, I say, dream your biggest dreams and live your life according to those dreams, because maybe, one day you'll stumble across the stars and realize that you are one yourself. Waiting to shine brighter and ever present to those around you. That is my current goal in the midst of this mandated regression of "business as usual." And my hope is that more people recognize these troubling times as a beacon of hope for future generations to come. Change is on the horizon and it most certainly isn't something we should be panicking about. Let it be, because in observing the crossroads of opportunity that has become evident in this time, we are able to become greater than ever before. And greater paves way for a magnificent new age of an interconnected fraternity.
