Quarantine , victories or miseries? Letโs chat about how the down time during this pandemic has been filled with heavy lessons and a deeper appreciation for ALL things.
I spent half my life being sad over situations I had no control over , carrying the weight of others . It was exhausting . One day I woke up and decided I deserve the best in life . I learned that Indulging in self care isnโt selfish! Checking in with yourself is truly necessary. I Changed my mindset and havenโt looked back since !
Our Egos create stories. These stories, or perceptions of our lives, usually revolve around what can be easy or hard for us to do. Is it hard for us to have control around food? Is it easy for us to wake up at 6 AM to get some meditation, exercise and mind work before starting our day? And the answer is No! However creating positive habits and attainable goals , allows it to be easier , and success becomes inevitable.

๏ผHabits that I have newly implemented to stay calm and keeps me going .
1. ๐ต๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐
Breathing brings me back into the present moment because your breathe is literally right here, right NOW. Inhaling calmness and exhaling stress is fundamental for me. Breathing / breathe work , It allows me to re focus .
I have A sticky note on my desk , strategically placed within view. It says โ SM:)LE , โI donโt own all the problems of the world xoโ this little note , Reminds me to just ๐ต๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐.

2.๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ถ๐๐พ๐๐
Journaling helps me understand , how I feel at that present moment . Once you know how you feel, you can gain so much clarity on where to go and what to do in order to get where you want to be . Journaling Allows me to have A clear vision , as to where I want to go .
One afternoon , journaling like I always do . I created A ๐ ๐๐ Challenge for myself and then decided why not share it with my friends! Surprisingly enough, I got a lot of positive feedback.

3. ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฝ๐๐๐พ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐พ๐๐น

Strengthening my mind not only Includes reading uplifting literature, motivational speakers. Itโs also analyzing the stories of people I personally find interesting , so I can take their success story and use it to help me create my very OWN success story. That means unpacking my mind of junk and importing things of substance .
4.๐ธ๐๐๐๐ธ๐พ๐๐
Exercise and movement are important for the mind and body. Exercise helps reduce stress and pressure in my life and provides an escape to get out your head . Movement for me also includes dance . I am by no means A professional, however I love Dance every component.
5. ๐๐๐๐พ๐ธ
Music is like a harmonious language . It is a method of understanding A persons emotions or story. I have A variety of music on my phone for every emotion imaginable. After all , I am human and filled with various emotions.
6.๐ ๐๐๐๐พ๐๐- ๐ฎ๐๐๐ป Discipline and Commitment

A beautiful quote that keeps me going . Is by Zig Ziglar โIt was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action and discipline that enabled us to follow through.โ That quote can be perceived in so many different ways . Each and everyday , life gives you another opportunity to try again . Do your BEST at whatever it may be .
Purpose + Priority + Productivity = Extraordianry results
Setting A routine and organizing my schedule in A calendar is essential. It includes both my personal life and professional life. This has help me to keep my priorities balanced . It also allows me to hold my self accountable!

Each and every morning . I make A continuous effort to get fresh air . It makes me so happy , brightens by day.

Iโve also swapped some of my bad habits.One in particular that is major, is waking up and grabbing my phone. It gave me the feeling of connection .
The NEW habit is to journal instead and drink some delicious tea. Focusing on solutions . I act where I have control and accept where I donโt have control . No one is in charge of my happiness , except me.
7. ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ฝ๐๐๐
Laughing is a GREAT way to release , and express emotion . Definitely allows me to lighten the stresses of the world and pressure . To ensure I continue to encourage laughter daily , A funny film and MEMES! I love memes.
These are only 7 of the habits I have newly implemented and WILL continue to stick to for A healthier lifestyle, 2021.
Consistency is the key to any true success. I know because, I have seen it to be true within myself. Now this thing called life is A Marathon.Practice makes perfect.
