If Time Was A Person You Will Be In Trouble

You Say You Are Busy But Doing What

“If Time Was a Person, You’d Be in Trouble

Let me just say it now: some of you are owing Time serious apology. If Time was a human being, e for don block you since — maybe even take you to court.

You wake up in the morning, hold your phone like it’s your life partner. Before you even brush your teeth, you're already watching a 2-hour video on “How ants build their house in the jungle.” Sir, is it ants you want to become in this life?

By 10am, you’ve already checked Instagram 7 times, replied 0 clients, opened YouTube “just to check something,” and now you're deep inside one motivational video that is not motivating anybody.

This is how destinies delay. 😂

You Say You’re Busy, But Doing What?

Sometimes I ask people, “How far your project?” They say, “Ah, I’ve been busy.”

Okay. Busy with what?

You’ll hear things like:

"I was replying DM from three days ago."

"I was on TikTok but I was learning business stuff." (Inside dance video?)

"I was thinking about starting something."

Thinking about starting something is not the same as starting it. You no go see results inside your head, my dear. Move from imagination to manifestation.

Time is Not Your Uncle. It Will Not Wait.

Listen — Time no get respect. It doesn’t care if you’re tired, sad, or “not in the mood.” It just keeps moving.

Right now as you’re reading this, your clock is ticking softly like:

“You better use me well oh, I’m not coming back.”

You keep saying:

“I’ll do it tomorrow.”

“Maybe next week.”

“Let me rest small.”

Before you know it, tomorrow has turned to 2027, and your village people are just sitting there like, “Ah, we didn’t even touch this one — na Netflix finish am.”

You Want Success, But You’re on Vibes?

Let’s be honest — you want to blow, but your lifestyle is fighting your dream.

You want to be a millionaire, but you spend 4 hours daily arguing on WhatsApp group about whether Messi is better than Ronaldo.

You say you want to grow your business, but your screen time on Facebook is 8 hours, and 7 of those hours were spent watching skits and typing “😂😂😂😂 I dey die!”

Oga, if you dey die, who go succeed for you? 😭

There’s Time for Everything — Except Time Wasting

I’m not saying don’t rest. I’m not saying don’t laugh or chill. But everything has a time.

You can’t be watching comedy at 2am and then be asking God the next morning, “Lord, why haven’t you answered my prayers?”

My dear, even God is checking your routine like:

*“This one wants harvest, but didn’t plant anything. Should I send miracle or sense?”

Time Is Currency — Spend It Like Money

Let me paint a picture for you:

If I give you ₦86,400 every day and tell you, “Spend it all. If you don’t use it, I’m taking it back by midnight” — You go reason how to use that money well, abi?

Now hear this: You have 86,400 seconds every single day.

Time is more valuable than money. You can lose money and make it back. But when time goes? Na “had I known” remain.

You Are Not Lazy, You’re Just Undisciplined

Let’s fix this lie once and for all: Most people aren’t lazy — they’re just distracted.

You have energy. You have dreams. You even have talent. But you’re letting small distractions turn into destiny derailers.

One TikTok here. One gossip there. One long sleep. One fake urgency. Next thing, another year has gone.

You must fight for your time the same way you fight for your data subscription. (You know how you nearly cry when it finishes unexpectedly?)

Pure Crown’s Final Words

Time is your most loyal friend, but also your most dangerous enemy if you ignore it.

Respect your time like your future depends on it — because it actually does.

Cut out time wasters (some are in human form).

Make a plan, stick to it, and stop waiting for motivation — just show up.

And if you're reading this and thinking, “Chai, I’ve wasted so much time…” Don’t cry oh — just start from today. Redeem it. Use it. Guard it.

Because truth be told, if you don’t value your time, someone else will use it to build their own dream — while you’re still pressing phone and wondering what happened.

Remember:

Your time is not free. It’s your ticket. Use it to enter where you’re meant to go.

Now go. Block distraction. Face your hustle. Because time no dey smile — and time no dey wait./
