How to Manifest Anything You Want or Desire

How to Manifest Anything You Want or Desire

By Amanda SteffenPublished 5 years ago 5 min read

Manifestation or attraction laws might be familiar to you. The method has after all focused on a 2006 best-selling novel, The Secret that sold over 30 million copies, and leaders such as Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Gabrielle Bernstein, Iyanla Vanzant and Oprah have spoken about it. (They all believe, for the record, that you should really show things.)

But first of all, while it’s about turning your dreams into reality, you have to take proactive measures towards what you want — so you won’t expect them to happen immediately or overnight while you sleep. That being said, paying for anything that could have such a deep effect in your life is a small fee (at least in our humble view).

“You control a lot by your thoughts and we control a lot by our joined thoughts…by what I [and we] believe,” Oprah told LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner in 2015. “When I started to figure that out for myself, I became careful of what I think and what I ask for,” she explained. “I was like what else can I do? What else can I manifest, because I have seen it work. I have seen it happen over and over again.”

Let’s back up. What is manifestation exactly?

In essence, manifestation brings into your life something real through attractiveness and faith, i.e. if you believe it will come. But manifestation is more than willingness and good thought. As Angelina Lombardo, the author of A Spiritual Entrepreneur, tells OprahMag.com, “manifesting is making everything you want to feel and experience a reality… via your thoughts, actions, beliefs, and emotions.”

To start manifesting, be clear about your goals.

Lombardo claims that the main concepts are followed as all approach manifestation differently. You need to know exactly what you will want, first — and maybe most importantly. “If it’s a newer partner, a stable friendship, or a better career, you are the only one who dreams of your dreams,” she says.,” she says.

However, one thing is important, whatever you want: Make your goal as specific as possible. “The lighter and brighter, the better,” says Lombardo. Install a detailed image of what that man would look like instead of telling “I want to meet my soul-mate,” for instance (think: qualities, characteristics, values, etc.)

Once you’ve set your intention, ask for what you want — and write it down on paper.

You have to ask the world for what you desire until you have determined exactly what your hopes, dreams and aims are. This can be accomplished in many ways — prayer, meditation, visuality, loudly speaking about your intentions, a vision board and/or a “future box” that is a container full of photos of the things that you want to manifest.

You may also write on paper your intention. You might know about the 369 method if you’ve spent some time on TikTok, which means that you write down what you want in the next order: The letters to the world can be as plain as 3 times a morning, 6 times an afternoon, and 9 times a night for 33 or 45 days.

And start working towards your goals.

Manifesting is also known as the co-creating, since it is a partnership between you and the Universe,” says Gabrielle Bernstein, author of Super Attractor and The Universe Has Your Back. That’s why knowing what you want is just half the battle — without action you won’t see any results. Spend time thinking about what you should do to achieve your goals, and incorporate them into your routine. For instance, if you want a big career change, start networking for a job interview with people in your new field and practice.

“Another way to be ‘in action’ when manifesting is to ask yourself the question, ‘What would my future self be thinking?’” Lombardo says. The reason? Reframing your mind can (and will) enable you to be successful. “‘Being’ the person who already has, does, and feels your goals, dreams, and desires helps you become that person,” adds Lombardo.

The next step is to be mindful of — and thankful for — what you receive.

Whilst you can not get what you want, regardless of what size or size it is, in the order and time frame you want to obtain and recognize what you get. Gratitude is key, according to Lombardo.

Consider writing a newspaper of appreciation. Spend five to ten minutes before bed writing down a few items that you are grateful for, and everything that happened on that day to get you closer to anything that you are trying to manifest. Perhaps you want to save enough money to retire and your cable company will call you to lower your monthly bill or you will find an interesting podcast that gives you an idea about making your own money.

And let go of any resistance and limiting beliefs.

You will have to eliminate barriers or restrictive faiths that obscure your view, including anxiety, and negative self-talk, in addition to improving your attitude and actions. “It’s a tape that’s played for a lot of people,” Oprah said in an episode of Oprah’s life class, “You say, you’re not good enough, you’re not good enough, you’re not clever enough, you’re not clever enough. “If you are not aware of that, then you end up being the truest, not the true one you know or want to be the true one. You’re not what you want and there’s so much you want to live in space with what you don’t have.”

It is essential that you first determine what exactly they are to step beyond your limiting beliefs. To do this, ask yourself: what are my own convictions, which may inhibit my progress?” Write down your answers,” suggests Bernstein in More Ing to your life. “ “ Cross the limits and write your new statements instead. Take your responses and substitute positive ones for negative feelings. If your limited belief is, “I’m unfinished without a guy,” then reverse that with, “I’m as perfect as I am.” If you have a restricting conviction, “I’m not nice enough,” turn it over with “I’m fantastic like I’m.”

To take it a step further, the next time you find yourself questioning your worth or saying “I don’t deserve this,” pause and think of all the reasons why you are deserving, says Lombardo.

Make sure to check (and change) your energy.

Anything that Oprah certainly knows? Energy’s all about it. She says in The Sundays in the Wisdom, “The energy that we have put out in the universe the energy that we get back.” That means, as Oprah Super Soul Conversation with Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith says, you can draw the same energy back to you if you continuously send out harmful energy — either through your thinking or emotions. On the other side, you’re also going to draw more positivity, if you’re able to change your energy (a practice often called increasing your vibration).

Fortunately, it is very easy for you to raise up your energy: Focus on things that fill the feelings of joy and gladness — whether it is to help a friend or family member, give a donation to a meaningful organization, volunteer work, get started with a meditation session or a short class of yoga every morning, spend some time in nature or even take care of yourself.

Additionally, you can also concentrate on how you want to feel. Says Oprah, “If you want more love in your life, set your intention to be more loving. If you seek kindness, focus your energy on empathy and compassion.”

But, be flexible — and trust the process.
