The human brain is massive and very complex. It has a limitless virtual memory capacity to store life experiences including thoughts, feelings, pictures, and information of all kinds. Being able to control your mind and having control over your life is always challenging because of the great size and functionality of the human brain. Though its capabilities and complexity defeat human comprehension, we still can exact some level of control over our minds.

The subconscious is defined as "the mental activities just below the threshold of consciousness." This is the phase of the human mind that receives and keeps various data we come across in life. It’s like a fertile ground where various seeds are deposited. These seeds will later bear either edible plants or useless grasses. It depends on what was deposited subconsciously through the conscious phase of the mind.

On other hand, the conscious is when we are awake. It is our closest ally. Every human will through the conscious phase seek, receive or accept what goes into the subconscious. We use our conscious mind to think, plan, analyze, make both good and bad choices. And whenever we desire to make changes subconsciously, we use our conscious mind to bring about those changes by deliberately consuming lots of positive affirmations; deciding exactly what we want in life, and letting our predominant thoughts be on our targets…

The Game Changer

You might at times find yourself in a battle you can neither fight nor win because in your subconscious lie false beliefs that give out signals that are not in tandem with your purpose at the conscious phase…These false beliefs are a result of negative information, images and perceptions that were planted into your subconscious right from childhood by parents, and society.

These negative deposits including your predominant thoughts formed false beliefs that are deep-rooted in your subconscious realm, shaping your life according to the underlying programming without your knowledge as to what’s going on — and why you’re not getting the exact things you wish to get.

For example, maybe in your conscious mind, you want to be a successful writer or a good dancer. But you’re unable to make the transformational efforts that would cause your wishes and desires to materialize. This happens because the signals coming up from your subconscious were programmed to work against you consciously. When the positioning of the underlying wiring aligns with your purpose at the conscious phase, their pulling powers will combine to produce the desired results.

The beliefs in your subconscious mind are what make the difference. They’re the game-changer that decides the game by simply showing up from the background. You mightn’t be aware of their presence because they work undetected from below the conscious level. But they’re always present and very dedicated to sending different data to the conscious phase.

Save The Right Data In The Store Room.

According to Brian Tracy: “the function of your subc0nscious mind is to store and retrieve data. Its job is to ensure that you respond exactly the way you’re programmed.” You may have forgotten about all the negative affirmations you’ve vocalized, listened to — and allowed into your subconscious. But they are well saved and patiently await to execute the task you assigned to them.

Similarly when you feed kids with wrong information, negative and abusive words you program them to face their future with a subconscious mind filled with false beliefs that would give them difficulties as they age and try to make progress in life.

Now, how do you as an adult handle a huge inbuilt data storage center that determines what you achieve in life? I believe when you understand that whatever gets into your subconscious mind has power over you, you’d begin to regularly feed your subconscious with positive affirmations.

Doing this is overly important because this is how you dismantle false beliefs and replace them with the right ones. All feelings, thoughts images, and information that find their way into your subconscious would at the right time perform according to their programming.

The right programming at the subconscious phase is why those that believe they’d succeed, succeed. They regularly upload pictures of success into their subconscious. They speak positive words and read quotes that erase false programs and replace them with positive beliefs that align with their pursuits at the conscious phase.

Conclusion

Most times we pay little attention to the subconscious mind and how critically powerful it is. This is why many adults are guilty of feeding their subconscious with negative information, feelings, and thoughts. We carelessly and thoughtlessly use statements that would work against us later in life.

We spend time imagining sickness and poor results from our endeavors in life instead of focusing our attention on love, success, and happiness so that our positive affirmations will dominate and superimpose every false belief in our subconscious. This happens a lot especially when we lack the basic understanding of the interrelationships between the conscious and subconscious mind and their functions.

“You must make certain to give your subconscious only suggestions, which heal, bless, elevate, and inspire you in all your ways. Remember that your subconscious mind cannot take a joke. It takes you at your word. ”— Joseph Murphy

You’re the one that controls what goes into your subconscious through the conscious phase. The subconscious mind doesn’t know which one is right or wrong. It doesn’t have a filtering mechanism.

But you can consciously filter and, carefully select what goes into your subconscious. Doing this enables you not to allow false information, thoughts, and negative images to freely go into your subconscious. Rather you’d regularly consume positive messages, uplifting-quotes, and focus your thoughts predominantly on the things you want.

Once all these positive affirmations get into your subconscious, its programming will begin to work in alignment with your purpose at the conscious level.

This is how successful people gets the desired results. They step into the field with a certain level of authority and preparedness. Their subconscious sends out positive signals that direct and gives them intuitive insights on how to play their game.
