How Successful Have You Been?

Did you get that new house you wanted? Did you start that new business yet? Did you finally buy that new car you thought you wanted? Have you reached 6 figures yet, or did you make more? Were you able to add more stamps to your passport? Is your wardrobe filled with all those fancy clothes you wanted to show off? Were you able to spend money over these past few months without a care in the world?

Funny thing is, that’s not the type of success I’m speaking of. That’s not the type of success I’m hoping you’ve had. This time in history will probably go down as the most important period of our lives regardless of age. We’ve never seen anything like this happen to us. No one could’ve foresaw it. Not being this bad at least. We’ve seen the society we’ve grown to know and love be broken within a matter of months. We’ve seen unimaginable things take place with no real end in sight. I mean sure we can look forward to a vaccine. But honestly, do you think that will end it? With all that’s been brought to light over these past few months, do you think a vaccine will cure that?

You know I see how everyone was looking for President Elect Biden to become our president. But I think its out of a survival state of mind. I believe if there was no Covid, without a doubt President Trump would still be President. But the American people are in fear. Fear of a roof over there heads. Fear of running out of money. Fear of their next meal. Fear of being able to provide their kids with meaningful experiences. Fear of safety. I believe the American people decided on President Elect Biden based off Fear, and the hope of a savior. But we have him now, and theres still a fight just for our government that we’ve given blood, sweat, and tears to, to take care of us, or at least lend a helping hand to the devastation taking place on our way of life.

Crime has spiked everywhere. Its almost as if America is a domestic war zone. We are un unified. We are divided, and everything kept in the shadows is being brung to light. Either you are awakened to it, or you’re still sleep only basing your life on what you’re told. Our freedoms are at liberty of being stripped. Our streets aren’t safe. Outside is toxic right now. Workers, the ones who still have a job through the madness are forced to make a choice between putting food on the table and keep shelter over their heads and risking their health in catching the virus. It’s a real ugly time for us.

I won’t bring you pessimism. But, I won’t shy away from the reality of whats around us.

I asked you earlier how successful have you been? That question was made in reference to nothing materialistic. How successful have you been at maintaining your state of PEACE. During this time period, until outside cleans itself up of the negative energies, Peace is the new success. Status is of low importance right now, because we’re all suffering, some only greater then others. We’re all without the ones we love. We’re all distant from the very interactions that made America great. We can only hope the vaccine will act as a bandage to recovery. But, we still have so much work to do to rebuild our society now the way we want it to be. It’s almost as if the universe has decided to give us a restart. A clean slate.

Peace of mind is the new success. Mental stability is the new millionaire. Maintaining your health is the new 6 figure and 7 figure earner. Right now we have the opportunity to pave a new way for our society.

The world has changed. Crazy thing about, it only took 10 months. Here we are though at a pivotal point in history. How have you used this time to benefit you?
