Gratitude: A New Perspective

Be grateful. Gratitude opens your eyes to life.

You know, we don't do this much. Being grateful, I mean. We don't do it all the time or even when we have to. There is always something to remind us to be grateful or we reminding ourselves to be grateful. Regardless, we need to start practicing gratitude, everyday. Many times in a day, possibly. The moment you start practicing gratitude and start appreciating what you've got, you will see life so much more beautiful.
First off, change your perspective and your focus. Start thinking of what you have and not what you don't have. It's like that quote that says: talk about your blessings more than you talk about your problems.
Appreciate the little things you have. The fact that you have a family, a safe home and food to keep you living. These little things go unnoticed and sometimes we forget that they are blessings too. They are worth appreciating and worth thanking God for. You might not have the best but maybe you have better than others. You may not have better than others but at least you have good things. Think about it! You definitely have good things in your life. Things that make you happy and satisfied. Don't you think they deserve your appreciation?


You feel exhausted after a long day of work but at least you have a purpose to work for. You wake up to deal with a lot of stuffs but at least you are able to sleep. You have so much in the inside but at least you have a safe space/group to share it with. You didn't ace your exams but at least you attempted and tried your best. You have to work hard to earn but at least you are earning something. You have many fears and insecurities but at least you have good friends and family who love you and will always embrace you.
Look at the good in every bad. You need to start focusing on the little blessings that exist in between your struggles and problems. You need to appreciate their existence because they are the good in the bad.
You might not be having the best days right now, but bad days won't last forever anyway. You might be struggling a lot at the moment, but these struggles make you better and stronger. When these bad days are over, you're going to be grateful for being able to live through them. And when you are done with these struggles, you will be grateful that you had them. You are going to be grateful for something much later and that also counts.
Once you start being grateful for every single thing in your life.. you will start seeing the bright side in every situation. I believe that when a person gets into a hard situations, that is actually a test for them. A test to see how they will deal with them, how they react to them, how strong they are and how grateful they learn to become


Gratitude; Gratefulness is such a beautiful concept. Personally, when I appreciate what I have in this life, I become happy regardless of what situation I'm in. The feeling of satisfaction makes me feel safe.
