Mothers deserve to be celebrated every day, not just on one particular day.

"Mothers are the epitome of love and selflessness. They give us unconditional love and care, sacrifice their own needs and desires for our well-being, and support us through thick and thin. They are the backbone of our families and communities and play a crucial role in shaping our lives. Therefore, it's only fair that we celebrate and appreciate them every day, not just on one designated day."

When we assign a specific day for Mother's Day, it puts unnecessary pressure on people to express their love and gratitude for their mothers in a limited time frame. People tend to buy expensive gifts or flowers, take their mothers out for dinner, or plan elaborate celebrations, which often lose the essence of the occasion. And most of these are done just for the sake of society expectation.

In todays fast world, Mother's Day becomes more about fulfilling societal expectations and less about showing genuine love and appreciation towards our mothers. It's like we're ticking a box and saying we've done our duty for the year. We forget that our mothers deserve to be celebrated every day, not just on one specific day.

Instead of assigning a specific day for Mother's Day, we should celebrate our mothers every day by showing them love and appreciation in small but meaningful ways.

Here are some ideas to celebrate our Mother on all days which most of us are not doing.

Spend quality time with your mother: One of the best ways to show your mother how much you love and appreciate her is by spending quality time with her. You can plan a movie night, cook a meal together, or take a walk in the park.

Write her a note or letter: Express your love and gratitude towards your mother by writing her a heartfelt note or letter. It can be a simple message telling her how much you love and appreciate her or a detailed letter recalling your cherished memories together.

Cook for her: Surprise your mother by cooking her favorite meal or baking her favorite dessert. It doesn't have to be a fancy meal, just something that shows her you care.

Listen to her stories: Take the time to listen to your mother's stories and experiences. It's a simple but meaningful way to show her that you care.

Show up for her: Be there for your mother when she needs you. Whether it's helping her with a problem, being a shoulder to cry on, or just being there for her, it shows her that she can count on you.

Say "I love you": Don't underestimate the power of three simple words. Tell your mother "I love you" every day. It's a simple but meaningful way to show her how much you care.

Give her a small gift: Surprise your mother with a small gift that shows her how much you care. It can be something as simple as a bouquet of flowers, a book she's been wanting to read, or a piece of jewelry.

Help her pursue her passions: Whether it’s helping her start a garden or supporting her in her hobbies, encouraging your mother to pursue her passions can be a wonderful way to show your love and support.

Offer your support: Life can be tough sometimes, and your mother may need your support. Offer to be there for her through difficult times or simply offer words of encouragement and support.
