Discover the Power of Manifesting
My Journey to the wish fulfilled

The book and subsequent movie The Secret swept the world back in 2006. Based on Wallace D Wattles: The science of getting rich, it brought the law of attraction and new age spirituality beyond the confines of a hippy commune in the pacific northwest. It was featured on every popular talk show and everyone knew someone who read the book or saw the movie. But, is there really anything to it?
There are devout believers, and of course the devout naysayers. There are a myriad of books on the subject and a matching number of coaches and gurus willing to take the hard earned money of those in desperate need of relief in this life. If someone is desperate for money, health, love or happiness, why wouldn’t they utilize a method that has only the prerequisite of a positive attitude. As you can see, it's easy to be duped by these supposed teachers but its also the reason it has become so popular.
However, there is way more than meets the eye when it comes to manifesting.
My Astonishing Journey:
Sure, I got swept up in the wave of Rhonda Byrne's book. I walked around for weeks pretending to be happy, jovial and positive waiting for all of my desires to materialize. They didn't.
I took the book and used it to even out the dining room table that was having balance issues. I moved on with my life and didnt think about it for years. Although I did have a deep, inherent belief that our thoughts create our reality. It was a belief I could not shake and it was not a “fake til you make it” technique. Nonetheless, I was done with the secret or anything else of that nature.
Some years later I came across a video of the great Wayne Dyer. It resonated with me in such a way I began my rekindled quest for more. I consumed every book, audio or video by Wayne and any other guru out there. Yet, I still didn't see any results.
One day I used one of my Audible.com Credits and purchased what would be my final Wayne Dyer Purchase. “Wishes Fulfilled”. This is where I first heard of Neville Goddard. And this is where I stopped using the term Law of Attraction.
Though Nevilles concepts were not far removed from the other literature I had read, there was something different about it. It made no mention of energy, positive vibes or anything like that. The Law of Assumption, as Neville put it, was simply assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled. Basically, spend some time in your imagination, create a scene of something you desire. Once that scene is so real in your mind, forget it. Move on with your life and assume that the desire you imagined is already reality.
You could walk around pissed off all day, but as long as you knew that your desire had already manifested, your good vibes mattered not.
If you want to know more about Neville Goddard, you can obtain all of his works for free online and some additional information HERE: I also want to state Dr. Joseph Murphy as another mystic that was just as influential in my life as Neville. For now, back to the experience that blew my mind.
One night while getting ready for bed, after playing out imaginary scenes in my head for months with no results and getting quite let down, I remembered another video I had watched. The woman in the video talked about proving to yourself the power of the Law Of assumption by imagining a scene that is so insignificant to you that you probably wouldn't remember it in the morning. She gave the scenario of imagining finding a feather.
Well, I did just that. I also cheated and made it significantly more plausible for the feather to manifest. I live in the northeastern U.S., where we have an abundance of Blue Jays. They also have pretty feathers so that was my imaginary act. Finding a Blue Jay feather, and the likelihood of that had better than average odds.
If you think that finding a feather is ridiculous or you are saying to yourself “So What”, keep reading. It's more about where I found it than the fact that I found it at all. It was the moment my life changed forever. It was the single most important manifestation of my life.
A few days after the imaginary act, still no feather, I headed to California to meet some friends and camp in Joshua Tree State Park. While setting up my tent and jamming the tent pins into the dry ground, I felt a light breeze, and right there, gently blowing over my shoe was a god damn blue jay feather.
Are you still saying “So what”?
I was in the least likely place in all of the U.S. for a blue jay or one of its feathers to be, The California desert(This is the Blue Jay Migration Map.).
I experimented imagining a blue jay feather.
Three days later in the Mojave desert one just so happens to appear?
This moment solidified my belief that knowing that what you desire, is already yours, is the key to life.
I also met my good friend Alex on the same trip, and even though I didn't imagine finding a new friend, He wound up being an equally miraculous gift I was given from the universe. It was truly the greatest weekend of my life. I will write more about Alex another time, but you can find some info on him HERE.
The reason I was able to manifest a blue jay in one of the least likely places in the entire country is because I didn't give it weight. I wasn't constantly looking for it. I wasn't desperate. From the moment I was able to imagine the feather, in my hand, and really feel the texture of the feather on my fingers as if I were actually holding it in that moment, while in my bed and then simply drift off to sleep, I never thought about it again until it appeared. That was the secret.
We impress our subconscious minds all day long with thoughts and feelings, and this is what shapes the world around us. My imaginal act impressed the thought of the feather on my subconscious and me being able to let it go and not think about it again, or ruin it by desperately searching for evidence is what made it actually manifest.
The brain cannot tell the difference between a memory and something you can conjure in your imagination. This is the key. The more real you make it, and the act of letting it go reinforces it as fact, and our subconscious, which resides in 4D reality, brings it into 3D reality.
I am living a life I could not have possibly imagined. If you have been struggling with manifesting, all you have to do is know. Know there is no difference between manifesting a cup of coffee or a million dollars. It's your belief in the possibility that determines the outcome. Don’t hope, Know.
I will write more about my experiences in the future and perhaps share some techniques and literature. And of course I’ll write about Alex.
