Create a positive change in yourself
Positivity works!

Have you ever thought to yourself, "Wow, they're so organized! They truly know what they're doing and where they're going!" Isn't it true that they appear to be so secure and self-assured?
Yes, they are self-assured. And this is something that we all want. We want to exude confidence and radiate it; we want to give the message that we're at ease and confident in whatever we're doing.
But what happens when we're going into new situations in life? How can we be confident in ourselves if what we're actually feeling is dread, worry, or doubt about what we're doing?
One of the reasons we are filled with self-doubt rather than confidence – especially when presented with a new task – is that we are quick to recall previous circumstances that did not go well.
Where we fell short or failed to achieve our objectives. We've all been there: the negative voice that keeps repeating itself, "Remember when you screwed up?" With this circumstance, you're going to do it again.”
That voice may be loud and frightening, robbing you of your self-assurance. However, by asking yourself, "What did I learn from that situation?" you may silence it and your worry. The key is to view such setbacks for what they are: opportunities to learn and grow.
Following a review of prior mistakes and lessons learned, the next stage is to pivot your mental process and consider all of your successes and accomplishments. That's right, you've done a lot of things correctly during your life. You've overcome several obstacles that have been placed in your way. So, take note of it. “Yes, it was me,” you may say as you point to the occurrences. I completed the task!”
Pay specific attention to situations in which you look back and wonder how you might have handled them any better. Or instances when you didn't think you'd be able to handle what was thrown your way. Nonetheless, you made it through each situation, handled everything, and emerged stronger on the other side.
When you're faced with a new problem or opportunity, it's natural to feel a little overwhelmed since you're not sure how to continue. The target may appear to be excessively lofty or out of reach. It's possible that things are moving rapidly.
Because you don't feel prepared, it might be difficult to focus on the work at hand. You're confused and distracted by the overwhelming amount of work you have to complete, mixed with your dread of failing.
There is an easy method to get beyond these emotions. Sit down and write down everything that has to happen in order for you to succeed. Break the big objective or difficulty down into smaller, more doable chunks.
When we are afraid of anything, it is typically because it is new and unfamiliar to us. We go toward what we know - the familiar – in order to feel at ease. However, we can only get comfortable with something if we try it and get to know it.
It's the same when it comes to overcoming self-doubt. The more comfortable you grow with taking on new tasks, the more assured you will be the next time you are faced with a difficult assignment.
Yes, at the end of the day, it's all about facing your fears and doing it anyhow. This is a critical component in developing your self-assurance. You can only get confidence by really doing something and practicing it.
You may look over all of your previous lessons, triumphs, and build a solid strategy. However, your confidence will remain a theoretical exercise unless you act. You must be brave and “Just Do It!” to genuinely establish your inner confidence.
This may seem obvious, but many of us overlook it. We pause and wait for the ideal moment, circumstance, or chance to present itself. Let's face it, there is no such thing as a "perfect" time. Don't allow the need for perfection to keep you at zero.
