Conquering your fears

Be strong!

By The Breatharian BloggerPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

Do you fall asleep as soon as you lie down in bed at night, or do thoughts and anxieties fill your thoughts and prevent you from falling asleep at all? Do you have a hard time ignoring your thoughts and anxieties at times?

When you are lying in bed at night, the environment is calm and dark, and there are fewer outside distractions, allowing you to be more conscious of the ideas that are occupying your mind. If you are going through a difficult time in your life, you may feel as if your head is spinning with so many thoughts that you can't get a moment's rest.

During the night, the ideas, anxieties, and fears that are normally suppressed during the day come to the surface and swarm the mind. Whatever it takes to liberate yourself from these niggling, restless thoughts that keep you up at night is something you must be ready to accomplish.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could mute all of the ideas that come to mind while you're lying in bed? You will only make them stronger if you battle these ideas and attempt to stop them as fiercely as possible since you will be providing them with the fuel of your attention.

Cutting a few limbs from a tree in your yard will not help you get rid of it if you want to get rid of it completely. It will recover quickly and continue to expand. It will be necessary to quit irrigating the tree in order to get rid of it. It will eventually wither as a result of this. You must handle your ideas and worries in the same way that you treat your body. It is necessary to ignore your bothersome thoughts and anxieties in order to weaken and stop them, which is analogous to ceasing to provide water to the tree in order to achieve this.

A good night's sleep is essential for maintaining excellent health. It is just as vital as eating a healthy diet and exercising your body. If you don't get enough sleep, you'll become mentally and physically exhausted, which might be harmful to your health.

Put yourself to bed at a sensible hour, neither too early nor too late in the day. Go to bed as soon as you begin to feel sleepy and tired. Relax your body by lying down on your bed and closing your eyes. For 2-3 minutes, pay close attention to and relax each and every region of your body. Fix your focus for a few seconds on each portion of your body and muscle, then relax them before moving on to the next section of your body. If you notice that you are falling asleep while relaxing your body, don't fight it; in order to continue relaxing your body, just let sleep take over and allow it to do its work.

You should keep an eye on your thoughts if you haven't already done so if you haven't already. Allowing your ideas to run freely in your head while keeping an objective eye on them is all that is required. Observe these ideas as they come and go, without attempting to pursue or interpret them or to give them any particular attention to them. Make a promise to yourself that if any of these ideas are serious and demand your attention, you will consider them the next day rather than today. Keep a pencil and paper beside your bed, and if one of your ideas becomes too persistent and refuses to leave you alone, jot it down so that you can remember to think about it the following day.

An effective method of avoiding overthinking is to replace these repeated and pointless ideas with more constructive ones. Make a conscious effort to think only of positive ideas. While you're waiting for sleep to arrive, fill your head with joyful thoughts. Consider positive memories from the past, as well as happy ones from the present.
