Coffee

'Good ideas start with brainstorming but great ideas start with coffee.' This statement is so true. Personally speaking, when a situation is so abrasive, that the mind is confused, take a deep breath smell the beans, enjoy every flavour of coffee, then all thoughts will fall into place. Me personally I love coffee, my treasured coffee is Cafe Mocha, with a flavour of cinnamon. There have been times in my professional life where was petrified by external or internal factors, I used to consistently drink my coffee, with a piece of nice soothing music. Most of the time, after drinking my coffee I have a satori that helps me to ruminate over the issue. Every morning, a good bed coffee is a great thing to have. I have a short story that I would to share.

An alarm clock rings, a young man wakes up, he switches off the alarm clock and he goes inside the washroom and locks it from the inside. After a few moments, he walks to the dressing room, opens his cupboard takes out his blue shirt, black jeans, brown belt and then go back inside the washroom, switches on the knob of the shower, check the temperature of the water, and closes washroom from inside. After five minutes he comes out wearing a white bathrobe. He then changes into the clothes, opens the drawer takes out his passport closes the drawer. He bends down to take out his blue suitcase, keeps it on the bed, opens the zip walks back inside the dressing room takes out a red formal shirt, blue blazer, black formal pants and his belt, goes towards the bag neatly folds all the clothes and packs his suitcase, walks towards washroom and takes out shaving kit packs it and then keeps it inside the suitcase. Standing in front of the suitcase, he thinks for a while goes back again inside the dressing room takes out a pink casual shirt, black jeans, two pairs of shoes and starts to pack his valise. After he is done packing he closes the zip, lifts the handle and takes the suitcase out of the room. He checks his pocket, walks back into the room, keeps the suitcase aside goes inside the room, walks towards the bed takes the phone which was under his pillow and goes outside the room. with his suitcase, goes inside his study room, keeps takes his laptop bag opens it, keeps the laptop inside with a charger, he keeps many other personal belongings like his diary, his notepad where he writes all the notes from the previous meeting, a pen, passport and walks out of the study room, with his suitcase towards the kitchen. At the side of the dining table, he leaves his suitcase and then he walks inside the kitchen.

In the kitchen, he takes out a can of orange juice, sandwiches and he closes the door of the fridge. His phone rings, he keeps the plate and juice on-site the table, takes out his phone from the pocket, answers the call.

'Good Morning, Mr Hugh' a strong voice was heard from the other side of the phone

'Good Morning, Mr Alex' Hugh replied.

'I hope you are all ready, for your presentation at the Techexpo in Paris.'

' Yes, I am indeed ready, at the same time, I am very nervous.'

' I know, you will do a great job.'

'Thank you, Alex, that was much needed, Okay, I think I will need to hang up now, I still need to have my breakfast and then leave for my flight otherwise, there are very few chances that I will make it in time.

' Okay, bye, bon vogue and please do not forget to bring French wine on your way back.'

' Yes, I will try my level- best to bring if I have time. and then he keeps the phone back in his pocket. He then takes the plate and the can of juice and sits at the dining table and he takes the first bite from his sandwich and starts chewing the morsel of food. He then opens the lid of the juice and takes a sip. He then again gets a call. He keeps the sandwich on the plate takes a tissue paper from the side and wipes his hand, this time it is the Uber driver calling.

' Sir, I am waiting outside the house.'

'Okay, I will just be there in a few moments.'

' Sure sir.'

'Thank you.' He then keeps the phone inside his pocket. He then takes a bite from the sandwich and finishes the juice and keeps the plate in the sink and throws the can in the trash, washes, wipes the dish and keeps it back inside the drawer. He then takes his suitcase and walks towards the shoe rack and takes out his brown shoes and wears them. after he is done wearing his shoes, he takes the keys of the house from the glass bowl of keys and walks out of the house, locks the house and then he walks towards the taxi, he then asks the uber driver to open the boot, keeps suitcase inside closes the boot gently, he opens the door and sits inside. The uber driver then drives the taxi to the airport. He thanks the uber driver, gets down from the car, the driver unlocks the boot and he takes out his suitcase, closes the boot and walks towards the airport. He then walks towards the check-in counter and there he meets a lady wearing a red uniform, blue scarf and her name badge on the right.

' Good morning sir,' How can I help you?'

"I have my flight to Paris, at 11'

' Thank you, can I please see your passport and ticket'

'Sure'

He takes out his passport from his pocket, opens his phone and shows her both the passport and the ticket.

'Do you have any luggage, sir?'

'Yes, one briefcase

He lifts the briefcase and puts it on the belt.

'Sir, are there any batteries, or any power banks in the suitcase.'

'No,' he replied.

After a few moments, she hands over the boarding pass to him. Sir when your flight lands in Paris, your boarding gate is number 7, your flight is delayed by one hour, you need to go up the escalator and then on your left-hand side after you pass the security check and the immigration you will find your gate. He then takes his laptop bag and walks up the escalator, finishes the security check and the immigration after that he walks towards the smoking-room, He buys cigarettes, lighter from the counter in front of the room, goes inside opens the pack, takes out a cigarette and he starts smoking and after a while a young girl, wearing a light pink shirt, blue jeans, the white belt walks into the same smoking room, even she buys a pack of cigarettes from the counter and she walks in. She forgets to buy the lighter.

' Can I please use your lighter,'? she asked Alex.

'Sure' he removes his lighter from the pocket and hands over the lighter to her and she lights her cigarette and starts smoking.

'Hey, thanks' she hands over the lighter to him.

'No worries, where are you travelling, if you don't mind?'

'Yes sure, actually, I have to attend a tech expo in Paris'

'Oh, wow! what a coincidence, even I am going to Paris'

' Let us if it is the same expo' she replied with a cute smile.

They both said, '11th nanotechnology Europe Tech Expo.' together.

they both have a smile on their face. Alex told her that he would be presenting at the expo.

' I will be there to listen to your presentation.

'Yes, please do, it would be great'

They both finished their cigarette.

'Now what should I do, because my flight is one hour delayed'

'How is that possible? he was in a bit of shock.

'Why what happened, is there one more coincidence.

'Yes, even my flight is one hour delayed, can I please see your boarding pass.

'Yes, sure.'She then opens her purse and shows him the boarding pass.

'I think God is being kind, we both are in the same flight.

'Wow! I think we are going to have a great time in Paris and on the flight also'

'Indeed, do like coffee'

'Yes, I love coffee'

'I think we would walk towards the cafe and we can talk more about you, your work and many other things. He opens the gate for her, she steps out of the smoking room.

'Have you taken all your belongings?

'Yes, I have, Thanks'. she replied.

They both then starts to walk towards the cafe, and they have a beautiful chat, about a lot of aspects.
