The goal of every scientist is to discover the truth. They don’t care about their ego. It is possible to understand life through scientific means. You have to determine what works and what doesn't.

Most people have books available to them. These are only the beginning, however. You must decide whether the expert's advice and information work for you.

Life becomes much easier once you know what works for you!

To analyze your life, follow these steps:

Mentally prepare yourself for success.

The right mindset makes a huge difference. When you measure your value by your results, life can be challenging. Results should be considered as an indicator of the effectiveness of your efforts.

For example, having a bad recipe doesn’t make you a bad chef. It just means you need to come up with a better recipe. Try to find a more effective method of achieving your goals when you need better results.

A scientist tests things. Experimentation is an essential part of being a scientist of your life. Don't take anything to heart.

Identify a life area that needs improvement.

Scientists don’t conduct random experiments. Their attention is focused on a single task at a time. Put all your efforts into a part of your life that needs help.

Educate yourself.

Develop your expertise. If you face a financial challenge, consider becoming a finance expert. Read books. Learn from those who have achieved success from similar circumstances to your own.

Be careful to not get stuck in this phase. If you don't experiment, you won't succeed.

Create a hypothesis.

Let’s say you are a consultant and want to try cold calling to get more clients. You may be able to get better results from using a particular cold-call script than you are currently using if you are correct in your hypothesis.

Experiment.

To determine which script is better, you must experiment. What results are you getting from the script you are using now? What is the average number of calls it takes to gain a new client? You should consider your usual success rate. Generally, a larger sample will yield more reliable results.

Call the same number of times with the new script. This will allow you to make a fair comparison.

Make sure your hypothesis is true.

The only thing left for you is to conduct your experiment. Gather your data and make all your calls. Getting accurate results depends on your data's quality, so ensure you accurately record each call's results.

Analyze your results.

Decide which is the better option. Your old script might be better, and that's fine. There is a possibility that your new script could also be better, and that's great! You've just found a way to grow your business and income.

Repeat the process with another script. You can keep improving for as long as you want. At some point, you’ll want to move on to another part of your life that needs work.

Is there anything simpler? Make your life a dispassionate experiment. The results don't have to affect you personally. You're an individual trying to figure out how to succeed in life. Rather than judging yourself, look for the best way to achieve your goals.

The right process makes success easy when you know how to do it. Imagine how your life would be if you did this in every area. Eventually, your success will become legendary. You just need to be willing to try new things. It's not personal. It's just science. And enjoy the process along the way - half the fun is in getting there.
