BE THAT GIRL? OR BE THAT WOMAN

How to be THAT WOMAN

By Maria.Published 3 years ago 2 min read

We often see the "being that girl trend in various social media platform, but this trend seems unachievable and only works for a certain type of people. And seeing these YouTube videos, these contents seem redundant always showing the same habit, like drinking matcha, putting great work out outfit. Though these things aren't bad, this lifestyle seems superficial. But what if we try a different approach, a lifestyle that applicable for all and vital for self-growth, a lifestyle that won't turn you to that girl but to that woman.

Self-awareness. This is your first step in order to grow you must reflect first. You must know your values, your strength and weaknesses. You must know the current you. Your current lifestyle your spending habits, and the woman you aspire to be.

Set realistic goals. set clear goals for yourself in different areas like your job, or in your academics (if you are still studying) relationships, health, and personal growth. This will help you know where you're going and keep you motivated. Make sure your goals are attainable in a certain period of time. you may start small, like passing your homework on time, working out ten minutes a day, learning to put on make-up, or saving money, this goals maybe small but what important is you are taking actions and making progress into improving yourself.

Keep learning new things! Read books, go to workshops, take classes, and talk to people who inspire you. This will help you grow and become a better person and also it can widen your perspective into certain things. Again, you don't have to start big, start learning things that resonates to that woman you want to be, such as learning to cook, learning a new language or learning to knit, just find a new set of knowledge and skills. It's also important to believe in yourself and be confident.

Don't let negative thoughts hold you back. Celebrate your accomplishments, big or small and surround yourself with positive people who support you. Be true to yourself and don't be afraid to show your true colors. Being authentic will help you make real connections with others and feel fulfilled.

Prioritize your health. You don't need to have a HIIT work out everyday or eat salad from breakfast to dinner, learn what your body needs, work out to be strong and healthy, eat healthy but do not overdo it, take care your physical health but do not forget to give love to your mental health.

Grow at your own phase. You don't need to compete with everyone, you don't have to be a millionaire in your early 20's, you don't have to follow any timeline, as long as you are aware that you are growing, you are in progress and you are turning better compared before, that is enough.

Remember that you can always improve and grow. Embrace challenges and learn from your mistakes. Take care of your physical and mental health by exercising, eating well, getting enough rest and managing stress. Surround yourself with people who lift you up and seek out mentors who can guide you.

Learn to communicate effectively and take action towards your goals. Break them down into smaller steps and keep moving forward. You got this!
