What is meant by Achievements:
Achievement is a term used to describe the act of achieving something or a goal. It can also be defined as the achievement of a particular result or the attainment of some objective. It can be referred as what you have achieved in your life that's make you proud. It can be different for another person.
Difference between Achievement and Success:
Success leads to achievements. It can also be said that achievement can be arrived at series of success. we can also say that the success is the subset of achievement. Success consists in succeeding in the attempt. Achievement consists in reaching a milestone. Success makes one happy whereas achievement makes one proud. Is is the person's achievements which make him proud not the success. success is of any small goal but achievement is big thing.
for example: If a country wins the football title in the world football championship, then the country is pride of its achievement. Winning every match is explained in terms of success. This is the basic difference between the two words success and achievement.
one more example which we can take is our college degree, to get the college degree we have to successfully get pass in every college exam, writing assignments and project and many more. after doing all these things successfully we get out college degree which is the achievement.
Five steps road to achievement:
- Set your goals : The very first step is to set your goals which you want to achieve. these goals should be realistic and achievable. Don't set those goals which is not possible to achieve. take a pen and paper and write that goal to get the clear picture. of it
- Analyze the ultimate benefits and impact : After setting the goals the next step is to analyze what are the rewards and benefits you will get after achieving these goals. It will put the tempting factor and help you to stay motivated to achieve these goals.
- Put together your strategy for reaching your goal : The third step in the process of achievement is planning and making strategies to achieve the goal. It is the most important step as it contribute the most in the result weather you will successfully achieve the goal or not. "If you go out without a plan, you will return home without any achievement "
- Implement your strategy with energy : After planning we start the execution of the plan. for executing the plan we need discipline, consistency and determination.
- Continue to evaluate and control your strategy: For achieving the goal we have to stick to the plan and put the continuous effort the achieve the goal. sometimes we may have to change the plan according to the circumstances.
Types of Achievements:
1) Personal Achievements : In personal achievement the goal is set by you and the reward associated with that achievement is belongs to you only. it makes you happy and gives you satisfaction
2) Professional Achievements: In professional achievement the are not set by you. Goals are of someone else and you are working on it. example you are working in the company or a sales person working hard to make more sales and made a new record. We can call this as professional achievement and it gives you satisfaction.

Achievements is one of those basic need of human's which help them to survive in this world. It motivates them to achieve more and gives them reason to push them-self to achieve more in their life. It is out goals, ambitions and achievements which makes us different from rest of the animals. It gives us motive to live.
