A little Bit of Positivity

Let's be real. Life can get real hard, real quick sometimes. It's no wonder that people try to find things as quickly as possible to raise them up and make them feel like they can overcome anything and take on the world. Enter - Motivational Quotes. But what is it that makes these quotes so powerful? Why do they work? To put it simply, it's because they inspire people - Hence "inspirational quote". No matter who you are or where you are at in life, motivational quotes are a powerful phycological tool that helps us get through and can make our days just a little brighter.

There have been many many days in the last 3 years, where all I have wanted to do was just to hide myself under the covers until all the sadness and stress just went away. Obviously, as a grown up, life doesn't work like that - As much as we may want it to. Of course, no one ever tells you when you are younger just how complicated and hard life can get. Some days it takes a lot to get through, other days, it may only take someone saying one thing or reading one simple quote that defines and validate how I feel and inspire me to just keep going.

Often times, getting up and pushing through is not only the best thing to do, but it is also the hardest hill to climb. I wanted to share with you some of the quotes that I really found comfort in and that I look to everyday to keep me getting up and moving forward.

I don't think I could say this more simply and perfectly. We all make mistakes - we are all human after all. But the one thing that Henry Ford has right is that we can all learn from out errors and do better. The only way to fail is if you let your mistakes take over you and keep you down. Mistakes and failures are inevitable and they only make us stronger and wiser.

One thing I have really had to learn over the last 10 or so years is to STOP COMPARING. Stop looking at other people and comparing their life with my own. Especially since someone else's life may look perfect from the outside looking in, but everyone has their own life journey and their own struggles that they don't show. You can only be who you are in this life. How boring would life be if everyone was the same carbon copy. Everyone is unique and special and have their own journey's to follow - Create your own path in this life and let everyone see just how unique and wonderful you are.

It is more than ok to make mistakes in this life, that is how we learn and grow as human beings. But when those mistakes take over your thinking - like they have done for me many times in my life - that is when you need to get back up, that is when it will take all of your strength to push through and keep moving forward. It's a hard thing to go through but staying down is harder. Always remember that there is so much beauty in this world and that you are a beautiful part of it. You just have to keep going.

This is one of my all time favourite quotes that I have only just recently found. There will always be people in this world that will say "you can't" or that won't fully believe in you. Those people are the ones that are the most inspiring. Stay with me on this thought! The people who don't believe you can do something are the people that you are going to prove wrong and show just how amazing you can be and that - YOU CAN! There is no better feeling in this life then to look at those people who doubted you and show them that they were wrong.
