9 Possible Reasons You Are Stuck
distractions and attitude are just a few reasons
Do you feel like you are working hard but nothing looks like it is being accomplished?
There is a difference between busy work and productive work.
Busy work can consume a lot of time, leaving every little for the things that brings joy or that feeling of I did it.
Though all work is productive work, housework is more of a busy type of work verse work performed to achieve a lifelong goal like writing a book or getting healthy are life changing work that moves us forward in life.
There is a certain mindset to accomplish either job; a positive one but to achieve dreams good habits are needed to get unstuck.
The lack of balance and the fundamentals of good habits can keep one stuck. So, listed below are nine possible reasons one may not be aware of keeping them from getting beyond stuck.
1. Attitude: A negative attitude about your circumstances equals negative energy and a negative outcome.
Try looking on the bright side even if life tends to only show the dark side.
2. Blaming: Pointing fingers, blaming others get you nowhere except where you are-stuck.
Try standing in the mirror pointing your finger at yourself. After all, you are the boss of your life, and no one forced you to make your decisions but you.
However, do not waddle in the past too long, for if you do, you will be stuck in the past.
3. Clutter: A cluttered mind blogged down with un-useful baggage only takes you to Never-Neverland. Never happy. Never satisfied. Never a win.
Accept whatever happened, process it, and let it go.
Not everything or everyone is meant or deserves to travel along your personal journey. So, make room for those who and new possibilities.
4. Distractions: Are time boosters. Turn off the TV, and your email and social media notifications then place your phone on vibrate or in another room.
Because guess what? It is not going anywhere until you stroll through it or delete it. And if you miss something, it was not meant for you to see.
Distractions steals time that we will never get back. Do not let distraction rob you of it.
5. Focus: Well, the lack of it.
Focusing on too many tasks at once is exhausting believe me I know all too well.
Multi-tasking is not what it used to be with so many technical distractions dinging in the background.
Try focusing on one task or idea at a time and not move on to the next until that one has been completed. More will get accomplished this way and less anxiety will be felt.
6. Gratitude: Gratitude is the best attitude cause when we underappreciate what we have it appears we have nothing when we have plenty.
By focusing and appreciating the things that truly matter gives true gratification and fulfillment of abundance that pushes us to do more for those things that matter in our lives. In return, we get stuff accomplished.
7. Habits: Bad habits are like poison. Doing too much of anything could destroy us. This includes binge-watching (time management), consuming too many unhealthy foods, and living in the past.
Being mindful breaks bad habits if it takes 14 or 60 days to get rid of them, one first must be cognizant that they are bad habits.
8. Identity: Have you lose yourself to society, using so much time trying to find you or what your purpose is?
Not knowing who you are hinders you from finding your life’s purpose.
To save time, think back on those moments where you felt empowered, and life just flowed like those things you enjoyed doing as a kid or, how you felt when you helped someone solve a problem.
Knowing who you are is especially important to living a meaningful life.
It is no easy task finding yourself once you have lost you but a new version of you can be found.
9. Perfection: Nothing is perfect. So, if you are waiting to perfect your craft, a business plan, or figure, you will be waiting forever.
Perfectionism is like a disease with procrastination as a symptom.
Striving for perfection only causes one to overthink and underproduce. It causes fear and doubts in our abilities to do and get stuff done.
If you are a perfectionist, you are either fearful of failing or succeeding or, you care too much about what others think of you. This will in turn keep you stuck striving for an unrealistic world.
This list of 9 are simple mindset awareness when adjusted could free one from the maze of stuck; freeing up more time to focus on what is most valuable in life and meeting goals.
