5 Ways To Start Over Again!

My own patented methods for starting fresh

By Anju JagarwalPublished 2 years ago 3 min read

Are you looking to turn over a new leaf in your personal life or with a professional project? Such an undertaking can definitely be daunting, but don’t fret, here’s some uplifting advice to aid you along your journey…

“Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.”

~ George Addair

Five Quick Steps

1. Change Is Good: When you start anything over again from the beginning, it’s important that you embrace the changes that come with the territory. Acknowledge that something in your life is not right, or perhaps that you are somehow stuck in one place. Embracing change can lead you toward many great opportunities. Nothing constructive will ever come of sitting by idly and not taking control of your life, whether it’s in your career or your close relationships.

2. It’s Okay To Take A Break: People often say when you seem to be running behind in your life relative to everyone around you, that you can’t slow down and take a break, otherwise you’ll get left behind while everyone else becomes super successful. But that’s not true; I’ve heard from a very successful person that you can’t achieve success by working yourself too hard. People who are successful in life, work hard over long periods of time. So when you’re just getting started and feel that some people are doing a lot better than you or are more successful than you are, remember that there’s still a long way to go. Also, don’t even bothering comparing yourself to others but rather, take pride in your own work because it’s totally different from anyone else’s anyway. Work diligently and when you get tired, make sure to take a rest and relax, but always pick up from where you left off.

3. Set Clear Goals: When you start anything anew, it can be very easy to fall back into your old patterns, but then is when you need to remember what your original vision was and why you started this venture in the first place. Every day, you wake up — do the work that needs to be done — period.

4. Build Up Your Support System: No matter how many times you say you don’t need anyone in your life, guess what? You do! Especially when you’re in the midst of starting all over. So don’t be afraid to ask for help! Surround yourself with reliable friends, colleagues, and mentors who can be part of your growth, and whom can share in your happiness whenever you succeed.

5. Take Action to Do Difficult Things First: We, as selfish humans, tend to look for shortcuts around had work. However, laziness is a sure-fire way to fail. So the next time you are starting again, make up your mind and find the resolve to get the hardest things out of the way before proceeding forward any further. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later!

Hey,

My name is Anju Jagarwal. I did start writing on this platform when I'm going through a hard phase & writing about different things made me calm and happy. I am not good at writing then, nor I'm good at this now, but I want to start writing again because I want to feel calm & happy again even if I don't get views writing on this platform. This is important for my mental health. The things I can not talk about with others, the things are off said better for people's life. Shall we start again?
