My Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Wedding
Wedding season is upon us. Pinterest is pinging. Registries are ringing. Seamstresses are... seaming. You see where I'm going with this. Myself, I'm helping plan my best friend in the whole wide world's wedding for June 2020, and my vow renewal for September 2020. It got me thinking about my wedding nine years ago. When we plan out weddings, we all want everything to go off perfectly, and we kill ourselves creating a perfect day. Not everything always ends up perfect, though. In the case of my wedding, only one thing actually went according to plan: I married my husband. Sit down, I'll tell you all about it.

I Let My Fiancé Plan My Bachelorette Party and It Wasn’t a Total Disaster. Created with: LELO.
I do trust my fiancé—I suppose that’s obvious, since I’m marrying him. However, I was very hesitant when he volunteered to plan my bachelorette party. It’s the type of pre-wedding celebration that is almost always handled by a bridesmaid. It is a girl’s night, after all.

Unique Wedding Gifts for Couples Who Have Everything
Okay, I'll come out and say the thing that everyone knows to be true: Buying wedding gifts sucks. It always involves the same damned thing: cutting boards, overpriced glasses, stupid picture frames, and maybe a quilt.

10 Important Things to Do Before You Get Married
Around one out of every two marriages in the United States will end in divorce—and believe it or not, we don't even have the highest divorce rates. That dubious honor goes to the country of Belgium, where 70 percent of all couples will divorce.

What to Consider When Booking a Venue
Let’s be honest—the first thing on your mind, once you get past the shock and tears of your engagement and that gorgeous ring on your finger, is “Where are we going to do this thing?!” Venue selection is certainly an exciting adventure, but don’t be fooled—the task can get pretty stressful if you’re not prepared. Selecting a venue takes more than picking the one that’s seemingly cheaper or the one that looks the prettiest in pictures online. So, before you go and put that down payment on the first one you look at, make sure you keep these other small, but important factors in mind.

Things that Helped Me, as a Lazy Bride to Be
Like most little girls, I dreamed of my wedding day. I planned the little intricacies and pomp with flare while imagining I was a princess wearing white. I became more and more jaded by hate of dating, and my dreams of becoming a bride faded into a dream that I would have after eating a whole pizza while watching Game of Thrones. Yeah, I was that girl—the nerdy girl who ate whole pizzas on Sunday night. Fast forward to now, I have been with the love of my life, Matt, for 5 years this November, and even after losing my engagement ring in Italy (while I was on set working), the wedding is still on, and I have never been more overwhelmed. Not only do I suffer from bouts of depression, but I have really bad anxiety at times.
