LOVE MARRIAGE
A Journey Towards a Lifetime of Happiness

As a little girl, she had always dreamed of her fairy tale wedding. She had imagined herself walking down the aisle in a beautiful white dress, surrounded by flowers and loved ones. But as she grew older, she realized that finding true love was not always easy.
She had dated on and off throughout her twenties, never finding someone who truly understood her or shared her values. She had come close a few times, but something had always seemed to be missing.
It wasn't until she was in her thirties that she met him. They had been introduced by mutual friends, and she had been instantly drawn to his intelligence, his wit, and his kind heart. They had started dating, slowly at first, but soon they were inseparable.
They had talked about marriage early on in their relationship, both agreeing that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. But there was one issue that kept coming up - their families.
She came from a traditional Indian family, where arranged marriages were the norm. Her parents had been set up by their own parents, and had been happily married for over forty years. They had always assumed that their daughter would follow in their footsteps, marrying someone who had been chosen for her.
But she had different ideas. She wanted to choose her own partner, someone who she loved and who loved her back. She knew that it wouldn't be easy to convince her parents, but she was determined to try.
He came from a different background - his parents had met and fallen in love in college, and had gotten married soon after. They had always encouraged their children to follow their own hearts when it came to love and marriage.
As their relationship grew more serious, they knew that they needed to have a conversation with both sets of parents. They invited them all over for dinner, hoping to find some common ground.
The conversation was awkward at first, with both sets of parents voicing their concerns and opinions. Her parents were worried that he wouldn't be able to provide for her in the way that they wanted, while his parents were concerned that her family's expectations would be too much for him to handle.
But slowly, they began to see that they shared a common goal - they wanted their children to be happy. They realized that love and marriage were about more than just tradition and expectations - they were about two people who cared deeply for each other and were willing to work together to build a life.
In the end, they all agreed to support their children's decision to get married. They helped with the wedding preparations, offering advice and assistance where they could. It wasn't a traditional Indian wedding, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
As she walked down the aisle towards him, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that she was making the right decision, that she was marrying the man who she loved more than anything in the world.
The wedding was a joyous occasion, with friends and family coming together to celebrate their love. They danced and laughed and ate until late into the night, happy to be surrounded by those who cared for them.
As they left the reception, hand in hand, she knew that their journey together was just beginning. They would face challenges and obstacles, but they would face them together, with love and commitment guiding them.
She looked up at him, her heart overflowing with gratitude and love. "I can't believe we did it," she said softly.
He smiled down at her, his eyes shining. "We did it," he replied. "And we'll keep doing it, every day for the rest of our lives."
And with those words, they walked into the future, ready to face whatever lay ahead, together.
