Among the various causes of tooth movement, the most prominent are
*Inflammation of the socket of the tooth: Each tooth is held firmly in place by the gums and jawbone. If the teeth are not cleaned regularly in the right way or those have food stuck between their teeth, if they do not use floss or an interdental brush, inflammation of the tooth canal gradually develops. The reverse can also happen, as an infection in an affected tooth can destroy the pulp between the teeth and invade the jawbone to form inflammation, cysts or tumors that can lead to tooth loss and tooth movement.
* injury: Trauma to the face from an accident or collision can cause teeth to move. Especially road accidents, injuries from small children at home, hitting each other, falls while playing, or not wearing a mouth guard in the game of cricket can cause teeth to move on the ball. Biting down on something hard can also cause teeth to move.
* Hormonal effects: Excess progesterone and estrogen hormones can cause tooth mobility due to bone loss during pregnancy and menopause.
* Unequal bite: Many of us have the habit of grinding or biting our teeth uncontrollably, which is called bruxism. Many people have crooked or crooked teeth. In these cases, it is difficult to keep the teeth clean and there is a possibility of excessive pressure on some teeth, as a result of which the teeth may move.
* Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis or loss of bone density is seen in many people. Calcium or vitamin D deficiency can also cause bone loss. Osteoporosis weakens all the bones in the body, and when the jawbone is weakened, the teeth can move.
* From treatment: Improper treatment can cause the tooth to move if the filling or cap does not match the normal bite or the connection with the adjacent teeth is not proper.
* Other Diseases: Physical chronic diseases, especially uncontrolled diabetes, cancer, respiratory problems, lack of vitamins, minerals or excess blood or side effects of certain drugs such as high blood pressure, depression, smoking can also cause tooth movement through gum inflammation.
* Proper treatment and prevention methods*
