The begging of an awakening

15 years ago I started to experience strange things, like ringing in my ears and noticing strange things in my sleep. We fast forward to my current time, and I now know this was just my spirit awakening 15 years ago.

Now an awakening is never easy, many of the well-experienced people already knowing that "an awakening" can happen several times within a life cycle: each "awakening" helping you to not only balance out more energies, but also attain more growth and enlightenment over time. Your goal would be to find your "life purpose".

As someone who has been sessional in this experience, here are my Top 10 tips to Surviving your first or ongoing "Spiritual awakening" or aka " Kundalini awakening"

Sitting out in nature

#1 Keep yourself grounded!

When you are having an awaking, one of the most important things you can focus on is grounding, this technique also going by earthing. In this practice you can go outside in nature, take a stroll through the forest and even just place your feet onto the grass around you; or even hug a tree, literally just hug a tree. This keeps yous safe in many ways, and also keeps you from accidentally "projecting" if you are not ready for that phase of your journey just yet.

Keeping track of your thoughts

#2 Find a way to journal your thoughts.

When you are experiencing your spiritual awakening, you will start to feel more sensitive to the world around you, you might even feel as if you can read people thoughts and emotions, not only does the first tip help here, but it also saves you from the endless headache you might experience.

This is also where journaling might come in handy! by journaling your thoughts, you can also become aware of your own energies and experience, this way you can begin to distinguish yours from others.

Community support

#3 Find a community that understands you

This has to be one of the most important tips that you can follow! find yourself a community that understands you! These people could eventually end up becoming your "tribe" or "spirit tribe". These individuals not only have insight about an "awakening process", but they have years of knowledge saved up behind them and can help you weather the storm when it comes to things such as the "symptoms" of an awakening; This can include shadow work.

Note: Another important tip! When you find your "Tribe" you will need to rely on your "gut feeling", you will know if "they" are the right group for you.

Resting and recharging

#4 Give yourself some rest, avoid all harsh energies!

This is also something to keep in mind, when you do have an awakening, or are in the process of having one, your energy levels might fluctuate thought the day, month, and year, this is your body in a way "rewiring" itself to take on more "higher energies", but also withstand more "difficult" and "challenging" energies; the universe is getting you ready for your "true purpose", you have only just begun.

Self-awareness

#5 Begin a practice that involves "Self-awareness"

This practice can yoga, meditation, or even a hobby that can easily help you "zone out" and become aware of your "flow": This is the state of mind that you can reach when you are totally "connected" to "yourself" and also to the "Universe" at the same time. This feeling is often calming and still. It is as if you are in the middle of a storm, yet "you" sit in the center of the storm's eye. You cannot control what happens to others or the world around you, yet you can control how you react to these situations.

Your support group

#6 Find a support group when it comes to "Shadow work"

For anybody who has ever had an "awakening", they know that this will eventually lead to "shadow work". Now, what is shadow work you might ask? shadow work is when you "pull up" the traumas and pains of your current lifetime, and sometimes even your "past-life" and you attempt to "understand/heal and then release" it back into the universe. This work can be extremely diff\iclt, and can also feel as if it's warping time and making things move slower, this is where a support group will b needed. when we should be staying in our heart, we often find ourselves returning back to the mind; yet the mind cannot understand the bigger picture of this "practice".

#7 Go with the flow - Become like water.

When you experience an awakening, you will feel as if you are being pulled in a hundred different directions, you will want to experience everything and understand everything, this is where "grounding and self-awareness" will be of help. When you are in your flow, you can follow this energy like a "river" might follow a stream, the water does not fight against this "Flow" it "molds" itself to the ground and surroundings until it eventually reaches the ocean or lake. In your case, this would be you reconnecting back to "Source" or " The universe".

Connect back to your guides and team

#8 Get into contact with your "Spirit team"

Contacting your "Spirit team" or "Spirit guides" will play a critical part in your overall experience and growth. Not only will they give you advice and help you follow and stick to your chosen paths, but they will also help you to connect to "realms" beyond your reach, your information, and downloads also coming from these realms. They will help you stay connected to "Source" even when you want to keep yourself just a little more grounded and secured to the "Earth plane". You will have your "Tribe" on the planet, and also your "Tribes" from the sky, and stars.

Reconnect back to Spirit, source, or The universe.

#9 Reconnect back to "Spirit"

As stated in all the tips above, connecting back to "spirit" will be of great help when you have an awakening. Spirit can be seen as many things. it can be seen as a "Diety, God, or even Source/The universe" this all depends on your personal preferences. They will keep you calm and balanced when "a storm" or "tower moment/ Dark night of the soul" roles in. Even if you find yourself in a "Darkened state", there will always be light leading you back to a "balanced and calm" state of being and mind. This can be done with meditation, prayer, chanting , and even manifestation.

A Calm and Relaxing day

#10 Don't forget to have your "off days"

Last but not least, do not forget to have your "Off days", this is when you are a little more "human" and you don't have to worry about your progress or where you are going. Especially if you have been putting hours and even days into manifesting your new life! Send out what you want to manifest, then release to let it being its "process" in creating the "Stepping stones" and "Pathways" that will be needed to reach your favored "Outcome". Get plenty of rest, exercise if you can, and plenty of healthy and energizing food, for this will also affect how you feel overall.
