About 5 years ago, I was working on a 500 hour certificate for teaching yoga, but unfortunately, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, but while in the hospital, I did yoga daily in the bed. . . . I am now cancer free, so I hope to complete the course soon… 🚀 🚀 🚀

The following is my one of my written yoga exams. . .. 🚀 🚀 🚀

🚀 Never Too Late: Health is Spiritual Wealth 🚀 🚀

Introduction: Welcome to the class, for my name is Dr. Wayne Stein, and in today's class, I expect you to learn that yoga is a dynamic way to stretch and feel empowered because stretching is actually a form of exercise that will teach you to relax and not feel less stressed about life and living the day to day routines that can seem daunting.

Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) 🚀 🚀 🚀

In Chinese martial arts, it is referred to the Diantien, associated with creativity and represents the center of the body connecting to the other Chakras and is a source of intimacy.

Let's starts with a pranayama energy meditative warm up.

Feel this warm up to order to generate internal heat, first in your mindset, and note how the heart is beginning to pumping warn energy as it continuously flows and blows through your spine and circles around the chakras of the body, feel how all the internal energy flows from this centering sacral chakra, just a few inches from the belly button.

🚀Inhale and see six petals of the lotus flower start to blossom; hold and close your eyes and see the color orange and we warm up and feel warms flow from this center.

Release as you exhale and let the energy allow the color of orange to flow throughout the body. 🚀

Repeat this 5 times as we warm up for our yoga; I may be walking and moving about throughout todays practice to make sure you are comfortable and helping you to relax.

Do not fear, for I am helping you to heal if you are tense.

Or I may be sitting up at times and doing Savasana to observe how you perform. 🚀 🚀 🚀

Yoga Warrior Pose: Virabhadrasana 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀

🚀 🚀 Now that we are warmed up, let us begin from our standing position, bring your left food about 3 to 4 feet behind you as you slowly exhale to the count of five and be sure to point your heals forward in one line. 🚀 🚀

Allow your left foot to go 45 degrees to the left; now warriors, inhale deeply and bring your arms to high into the sky. 🚀 🚀

Be sure to have your palms facing each other.

Now exhale and bend your right knee bringing your thighs parallel to the ground, so be sure to align your knee right over your ankle.

Hold this form and take a deep breathe to the count of five. Allow me to walk around and help some of you correct your stance.

Now with an inhale, strengthen your leg; now with an exhale, step with your feet together: okay now release your arm. 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀

Repeat but change sides and inhale deeply and bring your arms to high into the sky; to repeat, allow me to walk around and help some of you correct your stances.

This has been a mini yoga class. 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀

COOL DOWN: Sheetali Pranayama Breathing 🚀

Finally, we end with the Corpse Pose , so bring your feet wide apart and relaxed.

Keep your head and spine in life. Relax the forehead. Now we shall begin our cool down by slowly sitting up into a comfortable lotus position, and be sure to lengthen your spine. 🚀

I see you all, welcome back, now close your eyes and exhale completely to the count of five. One, two , three, four, and five. 🚀

Breathe in positivity, kindness, and love. 🚀 🚀 🚀

Now hold your breath. Now open the mouth and roll the tongue, inhales slowly through the tongue and filling your belly to the count of five: two , three, four, and five. Let the negativing and stress out. 🚀 🚀 🚀

Repeat this mantra. 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀

Repeat. . . 🚀 🚀

Let us do 5 rounds of this cooling and healing breath of the Sheetali Pranayama:

1) Breathe in again, hold the breath again, and breathe out again. 🚀

2) Breathe in again, hold the breath again, and breathe out again. 🚀

3) Breathe in again, hold the breath again, and breathe out again. 🚀

4) Breathe in again, hold the breath again, and breathe out again. 🚀

5) Breathe in again, hold the breath again, and breathe out again. 🚀

Now let us use this as this time to cool down and allow our spirit withing ourselves to reflect, for we are made of the lightness of love and are loved and love one another, for we are all each other.

Power to your peace and plenty in the healing heart of home, for we are walking home.

It starts with love . . . and ends with love, for we are made of love and light. . . 🚀 🚀

I have practiced yoga since I was a kid and was recruited to the number one high school gymnastics team in the country because the coach saw me doing yoga.
