Living your life - the health and wellness way.
Life is Harder than Working Out
Currently, I am a personal trainer at Lifetime-Greenwway in Houston, Texas. No, I’m not trying to advertise my services here, but by all means if you feel like you connect with me in some way through my writing and feel like you actually need help in the fitness department and I feel as though I can help you in return then feel free to come see me. I have been training others now for just over five years. It’s been fun and I enjoy it. The only down side is the long days that are spread out, and the constant rescheduling that can occur.

5 beginners tips for minimalism
As a 20-year-old living in the life of budding technologies and a world that never sleeps. I found myself becoming easily overwhelmed by the pressure put on by countless companies, with their elixirs of life and their ‘Must haves’. Especially as a young person and even more so as a woman, there is a certain pressure put on you to look, act and be a certain way. This way of life that is ‘ideal’ is in-fact the least possible, and so I adopted minimalism.

COVID-19 Day 5 of Lockdown
I think it’s the 5th day of the lock-down and I know that it will still be long before everything went back to normal. From where I am, it’s pretty abnormal. People around here are out-going. They like to just stay outside their homes since it’s hot inside. But corona virus seems to change everything.

Things You Should Do for a Better Health in 2020
In today’s fast-paced world, most people are taking health for granted. Nobody seems to value their health until the illness hits or the body is too tired to do anything. This sort of behavior sends an open invitation to many ailments and diseases. So, it becomes extremely important to understand that nothing in life can be more valuable than health itself for enjoying life at its best.

Run Before You Walk
On November 2011, I was finishing my first semester at Drexel University, and I decided to celebrate with a group of friends, eating brunch at a restaurant near Locust Square. We were eating like nonstop like it was the Last Supper, just enjoying the moment that classes were over. As we walked out, we heard a lot of commotion near the walking path of Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Basic to Bikini: Week three – staying on track, posing + first family event
Wowee – what a week! I’m not naïve enough to believe this prep was going to come without challenges; I knew life would throw some stuff at me because that’s what it does, I didn’t expect it to come so quickly though. I’ve said it a thousand times, and I’ll say it until the end of time, with whatever you are doing, you have to know your ‘why’.

The Morning Routines of Successful People. Top Story - January 2020. Created with: Daily Harvest.
There are two types of people in the world: the risers, who hit the ground running at the first whisper of their alarm clock, and the snoozers, who prefer to hit their favorite button a few times as they slowly wind themselves up for the day. I am a riser. I always have been. For me, mornings are delightful, the rising sun a source of boundless energy and optimism. My boyfriend on the other hand is a maximum snoozer. He has a tendency to delay the inevitable moment of awakening to the last possible moment, working his alarm to the point of exhaustion, when the whispers become shrieks so loud that I wonder if he is the only one in the neighborhood left to acknowledge them. I often give him a hard time for this lifestyle choice he seems so attached to but, if I’m being honest, mornings can actually be a struggle for me too, albeit in a different way.

Whole30 is a game changer
Thinking of starting a diet? I highly recommend doing a round of whole30. I’m 22 years old and I’ve been overweight my whole life. I’ve tried countless diets and fasting methods and nothing seemed to work. I did weight watchers for a while but I didn’t want to spend any more money on a diet. Whole30 was recommended to me by several people as “the best lifestyle change they’ve ever made.” I figured I had nothing to lose to see what it was all about.
