Qualia Nootropic Product Review
Is it worth taking?

Nootropics have become incredibly popular subset of supplements over the past couple of years, and the only thing more impressive than their reputation are the sheer number of different brands of nootropics. It’s hard to tell where to start and which brand name is the best, but after scouring the internet and reading multiple good reviews, I landed on Qualia Mind; this supplement is specially tailored to help improve mental cognition and focus. I decided to buy a month supply to see how well they worked; however, I was unimpressed with the overall results, experienced multiple side effects, and stopped taking them part way into the month.
First Impressions
The most amazing thing about this nootropic is the massive amount of capsules per daily dose; the starting dose is 5 capsules in the morning, and you are meant to work your way up to 7 pills. It is recommended to take Qualia for 5 days on and then cycle off for 2 days, which I decided to do. After the first 2 days, there weren’t any noticeable benefits. With other nootropics, I have felt a focused feeling within the first hour of use with only one pill; however, even after five pills of Qualia, I couldn’t feel anything. The one effect I did experience was a minor headache later in the day that was different from any headache I have had before. It felt more like pressure on my temples than an achy feeling.
5 Days In
After consistently taking Qualia for 5 days, I still couldn’t feel any consistent benefits. I never entered a state of higher mental clarity, and the only similar effect I had was an antsy focused feeling. It was comparable to having a lot of caffeine and wasn’t very enjoyable. The strangest part was this feeling never happened regularly throughout the 5 days, and it was hard to tell if I was going to have any benefits after taking it.
7 Days In
At this point I started to feel more benefits and was taking 6 pills daily instead of 5. I was experiencing higher motivation and more focus without having a strong afternoon crash. However, the feeling was just like drinking coffee, which I would have much rather done instead of taking 6 pills in the morning. The annoying headache started to come back temporarily as well. Even though I was starting to feel some of the benefits Qualia promised, the opportunity cost wasn’t worth it.
9 Days In
It was at this point that I made the decision to stop taking Qualia altogether. The slight benefits I had weren’t worth the adverse side effects, and I didn’t want to continue. I started to get a boost in focus and energy after first taking the capsules in the morning, but it would wear off in the afternoon and I would feel groggy for the rest of the day. Even after cycling off and then trying them again, I still didn’t feel more benefits, and I felt better during the 2 days I was cycling off.
Final Verdict: 2/5 Would Not Recommend
Qualia Mind is said to increase focus, improve metal cognition, and heighten mental clarity; however, after my experience with Qualia Nootropics, I would not recommend them. I barely felt any consistent benefits while taking them, and when I did, they were greatly outweighed by the side effects. This greatly surprised me as I read multiple 5-star reviews online before purchasing. It goes to show there is no one “perfect” supplement, and they affect everyone differently.
