The Effects of Chronic Sleep Deprivation
Chronic sleep deprivation can be very bad for your health. I should know because, until I was 20, I had that. In my adult life, I have been able to get more sleep, which has resulted in me waking up feeling well rested. Sleep loss happens when a busy person doesn’t always go to bed early. It is a bit odd to me, however, that doctors do not ask much about how you are sleeping. The consequences of sleep deprivation include car accidents or accidents with objects that an individual has to operate. Sleep deprivation can cause obesity, as well. When I was fatter than I am now, as I’m trying to lose weight, I’m convinced that I lost weight only because I was getting enough sleep.

Nostalgia, Memory, Dementia
Why do babies cry? They’ve been fed, changed, well rested, and loved. What else could they possibly want? Perhaps they are just sad. Perhaps they are dwelling on a memory that brings them sadness. Why else would they cry for no reason? That time when the mother left to go sleep in her own room at night could have brought feelings of abandonment.

KetoKraze
There are always fad diets every year that people seem to go crazy for, from weight loss pills, magic drinks, needles, and much more. Elimination diets are trendy and very unsustainable for most people. Ketogenic diet or lifestyle is a type of elimination diet but also so much more. Similar to the Atkin's Diet, Ketogenic diet restricts carbs, to send your body into a state of Ketosis. Ketosis is a metabolic state that occurs when your body can no longer burn glucose for fuel. Glucose is sugar; carbohydrates break down into sugars that your body can use for energy. When there is no glucose from restricting carbs and sugar, your body will produce ketones. This state will break down fat in your body and start using fat for fuel.

My Genetic Eyes
ADIE or ADIE syndrome is a rare genetic disorder in which one pupil is dilated and one is not; in some cases one dilated pupil might spread to both of the pupils. ADIE syndrome is known by many other things, such as Holmes-Adie syndrome, its acronym HAS; Adie's Pupil; and Tonic Eye. I have ADIE myself, and although there is no serious disability for me, little to no reaction to light poses a big problem in my world and at times will affect my ability to be able to see properly. Symptoms include blurry vision, the absence of deep tendon reflexes, and excessive sweating. I don't experience all three; luckily blurry vision is one I get most often. I don't sweat excessively and my reflexes are somewhat slow but still happen in general. Some individuals will also have cardiovascular abnormalities. The symptoms of ADIE syndrome can appear on their own, or in association with other diseases of the nervous system. I myself do have trouble breathing at times but I also have anxiety, so in my case it is not determined which one is causing my breathing issues.

Is it Better to Work Out in the Morning or Afternoon? . Top Story - January 2018.
The other day I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine who is an early riser. She enjoys waking up early, going for a run, and having a nice breakfast before heading to work in the morning. Her alarm is set for five AM every morning to accommodate for her morning routine, which occasionally includes a yoga class or some quality time in the gym instead of on a run. Naturally, as a night owl myself, I was curious to know if there were really any real benefits to going to the gym so early in the morning because, really, why else would someone want to wake up so early in the morning?! I was surprised to learn a few great pros and cons to both cases. Take a look.
