How Much Sugar
In today's society, there is a mass killing going on. It's not done with guns or knives, the weapons of choice are sugars and chemicals. It seems ridiculous to me that sugar has to not only be added to sweet foods but also to savory ones. We don't require added sugar or any sugar being added to foods like bread, baked beans, and canned vegetables. Where will it all end?

Journey to a Healthy Lifestyle
I have decided to start my journey to better health and fitness. I came to a screeching halt once I began experiencing joint stiffness and inflammation at the age of 19. It started out acute and I would only notice it while playing softball; the vibration of the bat would pain me to the point I could not follow through with a swing. I thought I may just have been overworking myself. By the time I was 21 I had quit softball altogether, but I would wake up in the morning and could hardly move my body.

Many people are fighting to lose weight, and there has never been a stronger market for those of us trying to slim down and get healthy. Day 1 of Cleanse
You Are What You Eat In my previous post I mentioned that today I was going to be starting a two to three day cleanse. So yesterday I went to my local grocery store and went to the organic section to see if they had pre made all natural fruit and veggie smoothies. To my surprise they had lots of options and I decided to go with the brand Naked. I first looked at the ingredients to make sure it was truly all natural and it was. I got four different flavors, the Berry Veggie, Mighty Mango, Red Machine, and Berry Blast. Each flavor was very good and I am a picky eater so I'm sure most everyone would like these flavors. The point of me doing this cleanse is to get all of the bad toxins out of my body from processed, unhealthy foods. This will help make your lifestyle change more successful because after you get those bad toxins out of your body you wont crave them as much as you usually would, which will help you stick to your new diet. Eating healthier and working out more will not only change your weight but almost every aspect of your body.A few perks will be, your skin will look better, you will feel more energetic, you will be happier, and you will lessen your chance of getting weight related sicknesses. The statement "you are what you eat" could not be more accurate, if you eat crappy foods you're going to feel crappy.

If You Think Hula-Hooping Is Just for Children, Think Again...
When I was 15-years-old, I realized that I had anxiety and depression. When I was 18-years-old, I realized that I could medicate for anxiety and depression with cannabis instead of pharmaceuticals. When I was 24-years-old after seeing how fun and graceful it looked, by a friend's demonstration, I picked up a hula-hoop for the first time since I was a small child and gave it a shot. Little did I know, that was the beginning of a beautiful and therapeutic relationship that would ignite the flames of recovery, self-healing, and self-discovery.

Aluminum Toxicity & Your Brain
Today, our body is exposed to more toxins than ever before, whether it's the air we breath, the products we use, or even medicine we take. One potentially dangerous toxin is aluminum. Something that people who deny aluminum's toxicity issues mention is that aluminum is prominent throughout the earth's crust. Which is true. However, what they fail to mention is that aluminum wasn't widely bioavailable to humans until the latter part of the 19th century when it began to be mined for creating metals and medicines. We all have some aluminum in our body, but the tissues that are most susceptible to toxicity are the ones with low cell turnover, such as bone matter, heart tissue, and brain tissue. Aluminum injected bypasses the liver and kidneys and tends to remain in slow cellular replacing tissues.

2018 Is the Year to Get a Healthier Lifestyle
Lifestyle Changes 2018 is the year for us to get healthy. For many people, including myself, their New Year's resolution had something to do with health, losing weight, or dieting. Most people will start dieting and working out like crazy in the first couple weeks of a new year. When the proper way to stick with these lifestyle changes would be to simply ease yourself into it all.

Benefits of a Vegan Diet. Top Story - January 2018.
I’ve gone back and forth with myself about whether to write this or not, when I was given the subject I was excited. But I very quickly reclined and have been putting it off for over a month now. The reason? I don’t want the backlash that comes from it. Isn’t that funny? I can write openly about my sex life and intimate details of my relationship, but I am worried about the backlash from writing about what I choose to eat?!
