Ever After
People say your loved ones live in your heart. You hear that a lot after someone dies. This kind of response doesn't necessarily have a religious meaning to it. Personally, I never found scripture helpful in dealing with death. But I absolutely believe that our loved ones do live inside of us after their physical form is gone.

Understanding Nutrition
Understanding nutrition terms and what food compounds are in your body is the most basic information we must know in order to make educated choices. Nutrition is really about eating a healthy and balanced diet. Having the right combination of nutrients will allow your body the ability to function properly. Your metabolism, growth, and the repair of all your body’s cells are based on the components you put in your body through what you eat and dink. The stages of nutrition are ingestion, digestion, absorption, transportation, assimilation, synthesis, and excretion.

Understanding Yoga
Yoga is the art and science of living connected. Originating in India, and first found in Hindu scriptures, Yoga is a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between your mind, your body, and your surroundings. The fact that Yoga was found in scriptures has led to a misunderstanding that it is a part of religion. However, it is not a religion itself. Hinduism used Yoga as a way to be more deeply connected to the religion.

Spirituality: What Does It Mean to You and Me?
A lot of people don't resonate with the word "spirituality," and they may even roll their eyes at it. But ever since I began to connect with the word and what it meant to me, I've been really interested in understanding what it meant to others.

My 90 Days to Fitness
I started gaining weight when I was five years old and was never able to lose all of it. Some other things have kept me from losing it, such as problems with my knees from the age of nine that made some exercises impossible for me to do, and also the fact that those knee problems have had me unable to do any exercise for six weeks every time they've gotten hurt. It's happened 12 times in total, which means that the weight I gained in those six weeks was even harder to lose because I knew that if I did certain things I would go back to square one in that wheelchair—and I'm stuck with that problem for all of my life.

My First Spartan Race
It was the 17th of November in 2018, when I first joined Spartan Race in Bright, Victoria. The event was the weekend Trifecta race, which means all categories were happening (Sprint, Super, Beast, Ultra, and Hurricane Heat). Since it was my first obstacle race ever, I tested the water by signing up on Sprint category. The 8km obstacle race sounded do-able for me that time, as I also just got back to fitness a month or two then.

Do You Want to Feel a Little More Manly?
Guys want to be guys. The trouble is not every "dude" knows what it takes to become more manly. Websites popped up discovering the topic of embracing a more manly attitude. YouTube channels center on the subject of becoming an alpha male. The channels draw in thousands—if not millions—of views. And look at all the books covering the same topic. Some gurus even sell high-priced courses on the art of manliness!

Exercise Challenge (Pt. 10)
During this stretch of days, you will notice that there was almost a week of no exercise. This was due to coming down sick with the cold bug that has been running rampant in my area. For me, it started off with a sore throat, then became a serious case of the chills. I went through a two hour stretch of sweating. This went on for a few days and my throat hurt so bad at times I could barely talk. I lived on chicken noodle soup, ginger ale, jello and pudding as I could not eat anything else. I also had to deal with a very sore mouth, which was strange. I had a distinct lack of strength and energy so, I spent each day in bed resting. As soon as I was feeling better, I began working out again, but had to start slow and build myself back up.
