Five Things I No Longer Give a F*** About at 40-Years-Old! Part 1
As a child, whenever I envisioned myself turning 40-years-old, what I imagined than is most definitely NOT what I see today! Of course, I didn't have specifics for my fictitious 40-year-old self, but it did involve things like more wrinkles, more pounds, more bills, and more stress, ya know the obvious. However, this future me was also way more mature, put-together, sophisticated, and definitely wayyyyy more STABLE! But whaddaya know, my prediction didn't wind up quite like my reality. Sure, the wrinkles are there, although they are more so fine lines than deep creases. The stress, yeah the stress is, has, and will continue to always be there because, well, that's life! As for the pounds, well there were way more of those than I anticipated, like I'm talking, "haven't weighed this much since I was pregnant" kind of more. And yes, I know I will fluctuate till the day I die, but for now, FOR NOW, I can happily and proudly say the pounds are down! Yeah babyyy! Last but not least, as for the extra money I imagined, well thanks to the state of the world and our lovely economy combined with the inflated cost to eat, dress, and just LIVE, let's just say, SHOW ME THE MONEY! (Ugh, old person joke...sigh).

Tutela Training System-Bringing the Best Version of Yourself to Reality
6 months ago, after years and years of joining (and than quitting) dozens of weight loss facilities and programs, I finally stumbled upon a new one. Ironically, located no more than 2 miles from me. It was a business I saw almost everyday yet never took the time to actually check it out. I was too busy visiting the pizzeria, sushi, bagel, and liquor store that were also located in the same shopping mall. While I may have never "really looked" at it, I most certainly always heard it. "Heard it" you may be asking? Yes, I heard it, and so did the rest of the mall. With beat bumping music, men and women cheering, and the clank of iron over and over again, I am still astonished how I lived here 5 years without discovering this hidden gem that is TTS?

Escape Covid-19 at Escapology
I know what you are thinking, we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, who in their sane mind can think about "entertainment" right now? Well, I can, for starters. You see, once this brutal virus begins to dissolve and the curve begins to flatten, we will be able to embrace life again and I don't know about you but I am going to embrace the freaking heck out of it! Aside from seeing my friends and family and sending my children back to school (and get my full body touch up from eyebrows to a pedicure, of course) I cannot wait to indulge in some fun again. With my husband, children, and even complete strangers, I get giddy with hope when I envision all the things I will get to do again. Things I never thought I would be UNABLE to do. However, with such a immeasurable blow to the economy and society, I do wonder how many of my past pleasures will still be open for business. Of course, the movie theaters will prevail and the local mall's and Targets will be be booming with business once again, but how many of the small-businesses that I adore so much will be able to open their doors again? Que in, Escapology, that's right Escapology the number one escape room game in the world! Sure, this is a globally known franchise, but when it comes to each location, these venues are run by everyday people, locals, who, in this example took a chance by starting a business and bringing a new outlet of fun to our community. Despite their household name, they are indeed still a small businesses facing very large challenges due to Covid-19.

Move over San Francisco and Denver, because Sin City has finally gotten the OK to join the fun. As if the 24/7 option of gambling, boozing, and over-the-top night life wasn't enough, the State of Nevada spent some time legalizing recreational marijuana back in 2017, giving residents and tourists another outlet to turn it up a notch. Now that cannabis lounges are coming to Las Vegas, selling cannabis in grass, oil, edible, and every form in between, Nevada has become just another state in a budding group that allow people to consume the green as easily as they do tobacco, alcohol, and strippers.

The Best in the World! 10 Records Broken by the US Women's Soccer Team
Despite months having passed since the US Women's Soccer Team dominated and won the 2019 World Cup, fans across the world are still rejoicing in the kick-ass victory. What started for us in France at the opening match on June 11, the women of America were pit against Thailand, and utterly crushed them with a final score of 13-0. It was then that viewers, fans, and everyone else in the world witnessed the strength, talent, and determination that the US was bringing to the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. Not to mention, it was during this game; led by Carli Lloyd, Becky Sauerbrunn, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, and Carli Lloyd (who you might remember from one of the most memorable Women's World Cup moments of all time; where the first of many world records were broken. Amazing Wine Country Destinations Across America
Wine. One of my most favorite topics to discuss. Seeing it, holding it, tasting it, feeling it. You name it, I love it. While I have ventured out to many wineries in New Jersey—heck, I even got married at one—I still have much wine exploring to do on my bucket list. Of course, I have a few international wine destinations like Italy and France, but I would be just as lucky to visit one of America's wineries, as they have some of the best tasting grapes in the world. From New York and Virginia's rolling hills to the breathtaking, sun-kissed views of California and everywhere in between, the US is full of award-winning, amazing wine country destinations that are just waiting for my visit. On top of that, even if the wine tours don't have your taste buds rejoicing in flavor, at least you get to sit back and relax, sniff, swirl, and try different wines. Who knows, hopefully you can get yourself a nice little buzz to take home with you. Responsibly that is.
