Waiting on Results
I like to think that I am a fairly optimistic person. Things are not always glitter & unicorns, but I believe my life to be pretty magical! I could not be more blessed. Period! The husband, the family (including the very loved & missed, girls), and the friends that He has provided me, they are all one-of-a-kind & I love them all so very much!

Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot
Weiser Books, 2017 DuQuette continues to not disappoint. While there's plenty in here specific to Crowley's Thoth Tarot with references to his Book of Thoth and the cards painted by Frieda Harris, what this book really does well is present a path to understanding the Tarot. It's specific to the Thoth deck, but includes details about the Golden Dawn designs that predate Thoth. Really, the bulk of the information here is about Tarot in general, with insights into Crowley's ideas about it.

Lockdown - not again!
Lockdown – not again! What about Mental Health? I have been a mental health nurse for over 30 years. I have had some breaks in service and for most of my life, as a nurse, I worked in Addiction Services. That was my chosen specialty. More recently and throughout the big C lockdowns, I have been working in busy community mental health teams.

What I learned about health
I lay down on the exam table, eager for my first acupuncture treatment. I have no idea what to expect. My background is science, this is something very different. I've done research, acupuncture has been around for millennia and appears to have had great success and continues to expand and thrive. I'm even looking into learning to do this myself. I'm excited to be trying it.
