Day 6 of My 40 Day Fast: Twin Flames Are Not New Age; They’re Ancient

I’m going to be honest and candid about this process. I don’t want to lead anyone into thinking fasting is easy. It’s not meant to be easy. It’s self-sacrifice. It’s penance. It is a spiritual journey wherein you give up something to receive something from enlightenment to miracles. Fasting brings you closer to the spiritual realm and elevates your energy to higher beings.

Today is difficult. I have very little energy, and simple tasks wipe me out. Writing this post is taking a lot of determination. I know there will be good days and bad days, and today has been challenging. I’ve been drinking a lot of water just to get to the next hour. My days are starting later because it’s hard to get out of bed. I feel weak, and I just want to sleep the day away. In the mornings I drink two litres of water and take my time with it. I find that writing on here gives me energy, and going outside helps a lot. Vitamin D is the one nutrient I can get without having to ingest anything.

Fasts are hard for me because I get attacked spiritually, which is the reason for this fast. I’m breaking curses that have been put on my me since childhood. You can read more about it by clicking on the story below.

I have read other’s experiences with fasting and for the most part people undergo a shift in their fasting where it starts difficult and then becomes easier. That has never been the case for me, except once. Fasting is challenging, but I always make it to the end.

My last fast was to break a love spell on my twin flame. I broke it, though we’re still in separation. We have to clear out ex energy before we can be together, which is what I’m currently doing.

Twin Flames are the same soul that have been split into masculine and feminine energies. My twin flame is the male version of me and vice versa. Twin flames are mirrors to each other, and that forces us to truly see ourselves.

Because twin flames are the same soul, the soul within the male and female recognize the other and will pull towards each other like magnets. These energies want to be together because they are one.

The stories in the holy ancient scriptures are meant to provide wisdom and guidance. They hold secrets waiting to be uncovered by us. There is much wisdom to be gained from the Hindu holy texts, and of particular interest to me is the story of Lord Shiw (Shiva) and his wife Parwati Ma (Ma is a maternal suffix Hindus attach to the Goddess). The more I dig into their story, the more I feel like it’s been waiting thousands of years for me to come along and unearth its treasures. I often find myself coming back to the story of this pair.

Lord Shiw is a powerful being who is revered by Hindus. Lord Shiw and Parwati Ma are twin flames. When Lord Brahma was to create this universe he asked Lord Shiw for feminine energy, because feminine energy is necessary for creation. Feminine energy births life into existence.

Lord Shiw separated Adi Shakti from himself. Shakti is goddess energy or divine feminine energy. After the universe was created, Lord Shiw sent Shakti to earth to undergo the process of reaching divinity and then they could be together. I wrote about that in the story below.

Shakti energy underwent 108 lifetimes to reach divinity. In her last life she was born as a princess named Parwati. She renounced worldly pleasures and worked towards union with her twin flame.

Twin Flames are not new age; they’re as old as time.
