Day 14 of My 40 Day Fast: How’s Y’all’s Twin Flame Situationships?

When I first came across the term twin flame I was going through a difficult time. My health was in decline, and I got dumped. Tarot videos began to pop up on my Youtube feed. One of the titles caught my eye, so I clicked on it. Pretty soon I became obsessed with tarot videos. The term twin flame was used a lot, and I developed a basic understanding of what that was.

I applied the readings to my current situation. I thought the guy who just broke up with me was my twin flame and that we were now in separation. We would still see each other regularly at a weekly social event. He moved onto to someone right in front of my eyes, and I was heartbroken all over again.

And yet, I went onto believe the girl he was with was his karmic partner, so I held out hope. Those videos made me hold on much longer than necessary.

I stopped seeing him because of the pandemic. That gave me clarity. I eventually moved on to someone at work. I was sure we would date, but the vibe between us suddenly changed. We began to avoid each other. Then another option was presented to him and he took it. I also thought he was my twin flame, and that he had gone to a karmic partner.

Again, believing he was my twin flame made me hold on for too long. I didn’t get over him until I left that job. Those tarot videos are meant to give guidance and help, but they can be detrimental if used unwisely.

Doubts arose with both of those connections. I’d look at them and think: how can they possibly be my twin flame? I was confused, but there’s one thing I knew for sure. When I met the one it wouldn't feel the way they were making me feel.

Those failed connections drew me into a hopeless state about my love life. I made the decision to put my love life into God’s hands, and said so during my prayers.

I came to know that the next guy to come along would be the one, and I was required to fight for him because there would be attempts to keep us apart.

When he entered my life, it was love at first sight. I had never experienced that before.

First of all, I was floored. I couldn’t believe that this specimen of a man could possibly be for me. I felt like I wasn’t good enough to get him. Even though I was completely enamoured with him, my past led me to have doubts. I went to go to God for confirmation. He seemed young, like very young. He didn’t have a single grey hair on his head.

I did receive confirmation that he is my husband. I also know that he knows I’m his wife. We’re in separation right now. We both have to clear out negative energy before we can be together, which is what I’m currently doing with this fast.

I had forgotten all about twin flames, but the term started reappearing. There’s a lot of confusion out there regarding twin flame connections. A lot of people falsely believe the person they’re connecting with is their twin flame, just as I did.

There are major differences between twin flame and other love connections.

First of all, what is a twin flame? It is the highest form of love one can experience. It is a connection that we work lifetimes to receive. I talk about the origin of twin flames in a previous post. You can read about it by clicking the story below.

Twin flames are one soul that has been separated into feminine and masculine forms. They are required to undergo lifetimes on earth in order to ascend spiritually. They have experienced a past life together, but for the most part they undergo lifetimes separately. Their ultimate purpose is to work towards coming into union with each other, and they go through a lot to get to each other.

This is why twin flame relationships are so rare. The journey to the lifetime where union can happen is long and difficult. When they reach that lifetime, there will be interference to keep them apart. It would be unfortunate not to make it to union considering how far they’d come to get to the other.

The connection is instant. Once they lay eyes on each other the love activates. This is because their souls recognize each other.

Twin flame connections are very spiritual, and I don’t just mean that they are spiritual people. They are, but twin flames are very psychic. This is a result of past work in past lives. Strong psychic ability is a reward one achieves though spiritual work over lifetimes.

My twin flame has the ability to hear the spirit realm. I have caught him talking to someone that isn’t there. I don’t know if he’s talking to God or a spirit guide. I was born with psychic gifts, but they were blocked when I was a small child through spiritual attacks. I don’t know exactly what my psychic gifts are yet. However, while on my spiritual journey I have heightened my psychic senses.

In a twin flame pairing, one can feel what the other is feeling when they are in the throes of a strong emotion. I know when my twin flame is sad, or when he's missing me. The feeling comes out of nowhere, and at first I was confused until I figured out I was feeling him.

There will be spiritual attacks to keep twin flames apart. Because of my past connections, I could sense when spells came into play between us even though we’ve never spoken. The vibe had completely shifted, just as it happened in the past. I had to do a fast to break the spells. As soon as the fast was over I felt a very heavy sadness a and deep regret. I was feeling him. Then I knew that him and his karmic partner had been together. I felt as though I he'd cheated.

Even though we’re in separation I still sometimes feel him.

Twin flames are telepathic, though when we first saw each other we didn't know. We fell into a lovesick state. When he was having sexy thoughts about me, I would feel it in my sacral chakra. I’ve had sexy thoughts about others, but I’d never experienced anything like this.

Twin flames have an age gap. One person has to have the time to go through the spiritual process so they can guide the other. This is usually the feminine, because women are more likely to heed the spiritual calling and embark on the journey. Most men are rational thinkers. Their minds override their heart and intuition when making decisions.

I was questioning my twin flame connection, so I asked God why there was such an age gap between us. I received a couple reasons. I was reminded of a manifestation I did 10 years ago. I wrote down everything I wanted in a man. I wrote about my dream man. I thought ‘why not? Let’s see what happens’. I was very specific. At the time I was in my early 30s and so I wrote an age range that matched. I put it away and forgot about it. Once in awhile I’d stumble upon it and every time I considered changing the age range, but I never did. I thought since I’d put it out there so long ago I’d better not mess with it. I trusted the universe would send the right person.

The other reason I got is that twin flames each have a specific purpose, as well as a dual purpose. In order to mete out our purpose we have to lead specific lives that will train us for our purpose. In order to be destined for that purpose we have to be born at a specific time when the celestial bodies are aligned in just the right way.

The journey towards the purpose requires overcoming karma. For the feminine the karma involves life circumstances, and in my case both life circumstance and a karmic partner. For the masculine their karma usually involves a karmic partner. A karmic partner is someone who forces you to clear out all of your bad karma. The process of overcoming the karma creates the ideal partner for the twin flames.

In 2022 I was working at an upscale grocery store in an affluent part of downtown. Ninety per cent of the store’s clientele are regular customers that live in the area, so it’s noticeable when new people come through. At the time I was becoming aware of spiritual attacks, but I didn’t know who was sending them so I was very alert with everyone around me. That’s why I picked up on a female customer watching me.

The first time she came through my till, and I was none the wiser. The next day she came in and that’s when I picked up on the attention. Customers usually don’t pay employees any attention unless they need help. She came in again the next day, and this time I watched her. I was curious about why she was curious about me. She noticed and quickly left. That was the last time she came in.

Recently I came to know that was my twin flame’s karmic partner. What I don’t understand is that she could've checked me out one time. Instead she came in multiple times and blew up her spot.

From my experience, these are the traits of a twin flame connection. I hope it helps to clear up any confusion.
