As I See Young People Succumbing to Cancer
Don’t encourage cancer as we live in an inflammatory era

I write passionately about health awareness.
Some of you encourage me to keep writing on it, while others may think I’m being too pushy.
Unprecedented level of chemicals have entered our lifestyles, even if we don’t use them directly, we are still exposed.
These chemicals, are hormone disruptors. Hormones are essential to healthy life, and you cannot live with imbalanced hormones. With disrupted hormones, autoimmune diseases and cancer will claim lives prematurely.
But due to some glitch in our mindset, people are still not paying attention to this risk. It’s extremely unfortunate.
In the USA, cancer rates are rising like wildfire. A neighbor who had to sell his house and leave the community after his cancer diagnosis.
Today, I received a heartbreaking news, about another neighbor.
We didn’t interact much, so we didn’t know what was happening in their lives until we spoke. My spouse learned the demise of the neighborhood woman, from her spouse.
The couple had two children. Both parents worked. Their elder son is about the same age as my older child, and the younger son is around the same age as my son. The kids met at the park and went to the same school. They even attended birthday party of one kid.
Once, I delivered mint and lemongrass from my garden to their house.
I assumed they were doing well. Two working parents and two healthy boys. Their grandparents visited often. We are broken in that way, with one salary and no family support.
The mother once asked me to bring the kids to her backyard to play. I never went though, as they were bus parents. We would meet sometimes while out in the neighborhood walks.
I didn’t know the family well, but I was shocked. This shouldn’t have happened. Children of age 5 and 2 shouldn’t have to lose their mother, not in this day and age.
In the old days, infections often claimed lives. Now we are well-armed.
But are we protected from cancer? No.
Disposable money is leading to consumerism, which are largely chemicals. These chemicals are hormone disruptors and cancer triggers. We are in inflammatory era.
The woman must have been my age. I feel motherly love for her kids. Nothing under the sun will compensate for the loss of their mother.
While some neighbors are celebrating Halloween, you can only imagine what plight this family must be going through.
So when I, a researcher, talk about cancer awareness, listen carefully. You don’t want to be part of the statistics. You owe it to yourself and those who you love.
How can we avoid cancer? Don’t inflame the body. Don’t add hormones to douse the inflamed body.

Unfortunately, modern times are like a landmine, with chemicals in every nook and corner. They inflame our body. The immune system complains. People, instead of considering elimination of the inflammatory agents in their life, quickly seek therapy. Doctors recommend steroids, hormones, and growth factors.
When used in high doses for long enough period, these supposed-to-be therapies sure can create an environment, fit for cancer seed germination and proliferation.
Understand it, chemicals, even if they are marketed as products to make you feel and look good, they are red flags. You better go easy on those veiled venoms. Reduce the inflammatory agent load. Don’t let the cancer seed germinate and don’t fertilize the cancer seedling. Cut weapon supply to the arsenal, from where cancer borrows power.
Little awareness and discipline can help in establishing a healthy lifestyle. Adopt the kind of life that is hostile to cancer.
