Ok I’m going to have to admit it, I’m a real shocker... I respond like Pavlov’s dog to the targeted ads that pop up almost eerily on Social Media, after I’ve just had a chat about, or I swear, even just though about something.

Why You Should Buy THIS Lawn Mower to Cut Your Lawn This Year
In a few weeks, it will be that time of year again where all homeowners alike will be pulling out their mowers and lawn tractors and starting to mow their yards and fields. And when you're mowing, you're going to want a mower that works well for you and does the job right. I know this year is my time to purchase another gas mower because my other one has literally bit the dust. The self-propelled has stopped working so it makes it twice as hard to push. It's hard to complete the job when your own push mower is trying so hard to work against you. And every so often, it would start to shake then literally 'vomit' grass chunk piles along the path. Nothing like stepping on mushy grass piles while you're walking along waiting for the next 'shake and vomit' to begin. I thought I'd never finish the yard during my last mowing job.

QUILTING FOREVER
There are many people that share a passion for sewing. At the outset, it seems a straightforward thing but there is so much thought that goes inside designing and sewing articles and items to wear or adorn your house. Being able to create things from scraps adds another feather to your cap. And when you are able to reasonably make do with the work, you can teach your circle and allow them to share the love of creation with them.

Tik Tok Made Me Buy it
At this point in life, most of us know the way social media has targeted advertisements towards things we search for or talk about. (creepy right?) This could be things from apps to products. We have all seen the miracle-working cream or body-changing leggings. When I tell you how many times a day I see ads for things I want, that would be too many times. Although I don't always cave, there are a few products that I have just had to have and it is because of these tik toks where people review things they have bought on Amazon. Once you watch and like one of these videos, your algorithm goes crazy with them. Most of these things, I'll think to myself, "Oh, that is cool," but I would never buy it.

Subscription Boxes and Infinite Delight
In the past year, COVID-19 has tested us with stress, and stress-tested our coping mechanisms. I don’t drink anymore (quitting five months before a global pandemic was AN AMAZING IDEA) so when faced with uncertainty and isolation, I do what many people choose to do: I shop.

I Followed An Instagram Ad & It Led Me To A Sticker Paradise
As a kid, I absolutely loved stickers. They were my favorite part of every doctor's and dentist visit, and elementary-school Lacey lived for the glory of seeing a shiny star or a congratulatory dinosaur on top of my assignments. When my family traveled, I made a beeline in every gift shop straight for the metal carousel that held the postcard-sized Dover Little Activity Sticker Books.

A Mom Who's Willing To Buy Simplicity
As a single mom of two boys, who are under the age of seven, its positively imperative that everything is done in a timely manner, with the least amount of tears or tantrums. Like any parent its a juggling game between laundry, naps, cooking, work, soccer practice and everything else that we try and include in our daily schedules.

I Want That!
My wife and I were talking about watches about a week ago. The one I had quit working a few months back, I was still wearing it for the fashion, clearly not for the time. No wonder I was always running late, at least I looked good sporting a fine wrist watch. Within minutes of our conversation, smart watch ads began popping up on my social media feeds. I couldn't scroll through Facebook or do a Google search without coming across a watch advertisement. It's like they were ease-dropping on our conversation! I wonder what else they heard us talking about. I could probably find out by looking at my Facebook ads more closely.

FLANGES AND THEIR TYPES
WHAT IS FLANGE? A flange is a method of connecting pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment to form a piping system. It also provides easy access for cleaning, inspection or modification. Flanges are usually welded or screwed. Flanged joints are made by bolting together two flanges with a gasket between them to provide a seal. flanges are the second most used joining method after welding

The best thirty-five pounds I've ever gained; The Weighted Blanket
In the past year, I have spent more time online shopping than I have working. I guess you could say I spent most of my billable hours online shopping, and then a few hours after "work" online browsing, for extra measure. It's not that I am a bad employee or anything; I am just a product of my environment. The internet is where I make, and spend my money. If the movie Mean Girls was my life, I would play the part of the entire female population of North Shore High School, and my cookies and data would be none other than Regina George. "Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by your cookies and data." *I sheepishly lift my finger off the "checkout now" button and slowly raise my hand.*
