Discovering your true self.

Have you failed so many times in life that you feel like hanging your head against the wall? Screaming on top of voice which echoes nothing but pain and bitterness. I can relate to this feelings because I have been there. I hated me, i felt the urge not to participate in this world anymore. But then came the light. And the path to the light I have written in this book.

Chapter 1: THE POWER OF NEGATIVITY.
Our thoughts is one of the fundamental forces that drives the world around us. Your mind space is like a control room and your body and the happenings around you is a ship. The way a ship navigates is determined by the sailor in the cabin. So is your life. When all you have is negative thoughts, then it's normal your life steers in the negative direction. There is no scientific explanation to this, forget about the dopamine and seratonin which are usually termed as the happy hormones. Once your inner person dwells in negativity then no amount of triggered or secreted happy hormones can steer your life of the course of negativity. But as humans we all have had moments we failed at something, be it a goal or a dream, or an exam. We all have experienced failure at a point in life. When negativity comes in is when this failure becomes repeated. This causes the soul to subconsciously register this occurances of failure in the archive of your life, such that when you want to try again, your inner thoughts automatically refers you to the repeated failures. This causes you to have doubts which eventually increases the negativity you have about something and this negativity generates a force which would eventually cause failure and you back to the same spot. This occurance becomes a circle, leading you deeper and deeper into more negativity. This same occurance almost caused my life, when I wanted to do something, somehow I just knew I was gonna fail, I lost my confidence, I felt like I wasn't human anymore, more like a zombie walking around. If you feel like that right now, I want to assure you that you that everything would be fine. No cloud gathers forever. But then, for a cloud to clear, it either has to rain or is moved away by the Motion of the wind. Nothing changes position until a force is applied, and the amount of change that happens depends on the quantity of force applied. For the situation in your life to change, you need to start building yourself from the scratch. You need to take out that negativity. Now let's use this analogy "in a ship, controlled by one sailor, this Sailor gets to decide every path this ship follows. He decides if the ship goes front or back or stands still, But what if there were two Sailors? The situation changes, especially if one sailor is a senior Sailor and the other a junior, the junior sailor would have to take orders from the senior Sailor in which way to navigate the ship." So is life too, if all you have is negativity thoughts, then negativity decides the directions in which your life turns. So how about introducing sailor positivity? How about letting some positivity into your life and making it the senior of the control room of your life. This sounds easy tho, but very hard to implement in reality. Think about hijacking a ship and forcing it's original sailor to become your junior. Do you think this junior sailor would obey you wholeheartedly? He would surely rebel, and the consequences are usually fatal. And when he finally takes control over the ship again, he makes sure to increase security and even increases the pace at which the ship moves. Now relating this analogy to real life instances, it just like when you introduce positive thoughts at certain stages of your life and you fail again, what happens to the positivity?
It dies. And you go deeper again in negativity. This doesn't mean there is no way out. There is. Now using the same analogy of a ship and a sailor, " what if a being drops from above and enters the ship control room and trashes everybody and everything in the ship, and then with a flip of his hand restores everything to order. What do you think would happen in the ship.? I would answer you. There would be complete submission to this new being. Not only submission but also respect. You are the owner of your life and whatever happens in and around it. You need to start thinking of all the negativity and failures in your life so far as intruders, and it's high time you destroy all intruders in your life. You just need to have the kind of optimism and positivity that nature and every forces of fate have no choice but to steer your desires to you. You need to let positivity in like a flood in your life, such that negativity can't even raise a standard.
The tongue.
The Bible acknowledges the power that lies in the toughest tissue in the human body, The tongue. What you say, your daily utterances consciously or unconsciously affect the happenings in your life to a very great extent. You need to rearrange what you have been saying so far. Have you been speaking positivity? Have you been speaking success in the midst of failure? You need this positive utterances to steer your life into some positivity. Let me tell you what positive proclamations does to you. In a jungle the male lion usually demarcates his territory by urinating around a certain perimeter. Now whenever another animal comes close to this demarcated perimeter and perceives the odour of this urine, it doesn't dare intrude, and steers clear off that perimeter. Saying positivity is just like demarcating your life from any form of negativity, so say good things.
CHAPTER 2: Escaping reality.
Have you ever reached a stage in your life when you don’t feel alive anymore? And all you want to do is just escape the happenings in your life, like just sleep and forget everything. Many people when confronted by the realities of life choose to be buried in a fantasy of ‘’ it would be okay with time’’ things ain’t gon change because time passes, no things change because you started living up to your responsibilities, things change because you started using your brains and wits. Things change because you decided to change and face the realities of life with a different technique. Many people are still facing problems for years because they choose to escape the reality of facing the problems staring them in the face. Sixty percent of alchoholics are people who want to bury their problems in the bliss of being drunk. This wouldn’t lead to any solace. Your problems still keep growing and the stares from it keeps getting deeper, if you are in the quest of escaping reality, you keeps investing your energy to escape, leading you deeper and deeper into the escape route you choose and at the end you become lost. Escaping reality isn’t a solution to any problem. But this art of escape when used wisely could also be of help in finding solutions to your problems, I term this kind of escape as a ‘RETREAT’. When things become too much for you to bear, retreating would be of great help. Observers are more likely to see the mistakes of a player than the player, facing your problems makes you a player, retreating makes you an observer. Perhaps you might have made plenty mistakes in life and the more you try the more mistakes you seem to make, then it is time for a retreat. You might be wondering how do I make a retreat. Retreats are a different cases for different people. So you need to figure out what kind of retreat is best for you. Like for me when I’m overwhelmed I just listen to music and sleep like am the happiest person on earth while inn reality my life is on the verge of breaking down into different sizes. You just need to find what best for you, maybe hiking, swimming or anything that would distract you for some time. Now while being in a retreat you don’t just flex your life. No it’s a time where you list down all your various failures and try to find out why you failed. Device other strategies to counter the steps which lead to failure. Then go out and face the world again and this time go out with nothing but positivity.
CHAPTER 3: FINDING SOLACE
There is always a place where you find peace no matter how upside down your life has turned. This place is your solace. This solace could be a person whom you feel better after sharing your problems with, an activity you do that alleviate some your pains, listening to music, watching movies, and most importantly talking to God. Where you find solace is the best place for a retreat. And as highlighted in the previous chapter a retreat is extremely vital. There is one sure solace that works perfectly for everyone, the solace of talking to God. Do you know the kind of joy that comes with bawling out your heart to God and having the assurance and believe that he listens to you and walking down from the Altar feeling assured that help and a solution would soon come your way? This is in the reality the best solace you can find anywhere.
Watch out for part 2.
