My Perfect Home

What is a perfect home or a home where it becomes like a dream? My dream home would be surrounded around waterfalls, cause hearing the rushing water gives off a soothing complex to ones atmosphere. So calming, relaxing, and feeds a tired soul. My home would consist of homey atmosphere. Comfort of soft lounges, soft blankets draped over the arm of my chairs, on my walls would display positive quotes therefore complimenting my space. But, more so of bring my walls to live would have my paintings, hung up with pride. Peace and quite exists here, imagination and fantasy lives here.

As you walk through my charry wooden doors, my living room would have soft warm colors of welcome and set a homey sensation. Candles would be lit, and smells of lavender, Vanilla, and redwood would fill up the inside. Most importantly, I would want my dream home to include each of the rooms of my house, to bring different visions to ones senses of the mind and body. For example, the bathroom. I want it to look like you are standing behind a waterfall or being submerged within the life of a waterfall. The walls would have blue stones covering from the top to the bottom. The white tub would be circular, that sets on top a sparkling light blue stone glistening foundation. I would like to have installed speakers to play the sounds of mother nature. But, on top of the ceiling I want it to have glass piece only above the tub so you can be free to daydream as you are letting yourself go as you bathe.

Of course, after your relaxing bath and feeling refreshed, one usually is sleepy. Now, as for my bedroom I want to feel as if one entered into the gates of the winter wonderland of Narnia. The room will be a soft white, having snowflakes or glittering stars hanging from the ceiling, a soft ceiling chair to rock you asleep or to fell as if the wind is holding you in it's arms rocking you back and forth like a child in a mothers arms. Wood floors to bring out a wooded forest atmosphere, pictures of creatures from the woods will be hung up to bring the room to life, and lastly a string of lightbulbs will be hung as like that of fireflies that come out at night. I will have a small pine tree set in the room, in which will give out a more realistic aroma to this room. At night, as your eyes start to close in the distance you might hear mother natures children waking up at night from the howl of wolves, the singing of crickets, the songs of frogs and the whooping sounds of night birds.. The night is most indeed, magic at it's best.

After a long winters nap, you wake up to the crisp cold morning. You wrap a cozy robe around you, and walk into the kitchen of wonderland.

Cooking brings the kitchen to life, as the smells and spices fill the atmosphere. Having a big kitchen, if you are one to adventure into creating foods and recipes is huge. But being able to bring in the outdoors indoors is that much more inspiring. As you can see, as the center piece is the massive tree that is holding up my spectacular home. The black and granite walls bring out the color from the life of the tree., and the materials from the walls of Mother Earth. Leaves on the floor gives a nice touch and characteristic to the room. Making you feel like you are living with the forest. Windows up above brings in a lot of light and warmth from he sun. Sliver pots and pans shine, ready to be used for cooking. This is truly the Wonderland of our Rainforest and the beauty of what is like to live with our earth.

Last but not lest of the tour of my dream home comes to, the dining room. A dinning room should be simple and calming, as you enjoy your meals. My dinning room I want it to be a reminder of ones center and of peace. I want it to bring a peaceful Zen like atmosphere, as if you have stepped in the back door of China culture. Clean, balanced, centered, quiet, and bring comfort. Also, includes a fireplace to keep you warm in the winter and be used for holidays. As you sit down with your meal, you hear the crackling of the fire and feeling the warmth wrap around you like a warm blanket of comfort. Above your head, the ceiling will be made out of a thick white plastic to hold the heat inside but not block out the light of the day. For night, candles will be in the center of the table, to bring a romantic touch from what the night gives off usually.

Candles, a waterfall, and accents of plants to bring the dinning room to life will make you feel relaxed and soothed. Yes, indeed my friend.. this house is different and peculiar. But, it is my idea of a dream home that can take you places in all of the house. Wonder, imagination, peace, and of dreams.
