How to Save on Watt Usage in Your Home
A watt is the measurement that is used to size up the amount of electricity that is being used at any given point. A watt-hour determines the amount of power used during a specific amount of time. To decide on the amount of power used by household appliances kilowatts are used. For example, studies show that the average home in the USA uses over 7,000 kilowatt-hours in a 365 day period.

5 Natural Cleaning Products Every Home Needs
Something I am truly passionate about is how to reduce the toxic load from within your home. Aside from personal care items, cleaning products are one of the biggest contributors to toxic chemicals inside your home and honestly, they are completely unnecessary! I have not used a cleaning product with synthetic chemicals in them in over five years and my home has never been cleaner. But unless you know someone who's a bit 'hippy,' who can give you a guiding hand, getting started with cleaning your home without chemicals can be pretty overwhelming. It's hard to know where to start.

Real, Counter-Intuitive Advice on How to Keep a Journal
There are three things no one tells you about how to form a habit of writing—particularly in a journal, which I think, anyway, is the most fertile loam for stories, poems, profound realizations, and anything else one could desire to write. These insights run counter to a lot of the advice I read in articles and books on this subject, but the only argument I’ll offer is that my advice comes from over twenty years of non-stop journaling, and represents the key elements I’ve found are needed to free your inner record-everything deep-thought beast. Our Go-to Money Saving Links
My husband and I try to stick to a very strict budget since we have chosen to travel full time. I am always looking for ways to save money, or get money back on excursions, spa deals, wine tastings, etc. When we sold everything and moved to Mexico in 2017 we were 100 percent debt free. Sadly, now that we are back in the US, that isn’t the case anymore. We own our condo in Mexico outright, but we have a mortgage on our condo in Lake Ozark. We use both as rental properties to help fund our travels. My husband also has a military pension after 22 years in the US Coast Guard. These are our prime funds for traveling, so we have to stay on a budget as best as we can.
