I Turned My Art Project into My Passion
Once I helped myself, I knew I could help others.

Have you ever heard the saying "before Alice got to wonderland, she had to fall."? Well, that was me a year ago. I was in a place where I felt stuck and didn't know what to do with my life anymore until I started working on a crafty project that changed my life, opened my eyes, and helped me tune into my true self.
One gloomy day, I sat up and asked myself what exactly are my dreams? I wanted to visualize it, so I decided to get up and go to Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Walmart to get the supplies I needed to create a visual representation of what I wanted my life to look like. I grabbed an art book with blank pages, scissors, magazines, glitter, and other cute decorative accessories, and with those items, I decided to make my very own Vision Book. I have seen many people around the world make their own vision boards to remind them why they do what they do every day, and of their visions, goals, and dreams. I put all that content into one book, so I can easily carry it around with me and of course, when I want to pull it out it won't be possible for the whole world to see what I have planned. Imagine pulling out a huge vision board at work or even at home while your family or coworkers are around and their asking you about everything you dream of when you are quite not ready to share. That is the exact reason why wanted to put everything inside of a book.

On the first page of homemade vision book, I added my name, cut out pictures from the magazines and added every thing that I dreamed of doing, what I wanted my family to look like, and some of my favorite quotes. On the second page, I added a picture of my dream home and some encouraging words I wanted my home to be filled with. On the third page, I wrote an emotional letter to God. On the fourth page, I created my financial expectations for myself. On the sixth page, I wrote an letter to my deceased father and expressed how I feel since he's not physically here. Lastly, on the seventh page I wrote a few positive affirmations. After creating that vision book for myself, I felt extremely empowered. Suddenly, I knew I wanted to make one for other people so I can help them feel empowered as well. I thought to myself, "Wow, this is it."
Before creating the vision book, I was selling clothes but I didn't feel connected to selling clothes anymore. I wanted something that I can change the world with, something that would make a difference in people's lives. I wanted to get people out of the stuck feeling I was going through when I simply didn't know what I wanted to do with my life anymore. When I got the chance to get crafty and let my creative juices flow, life began to get easier for me and I got the chance to make life easier for others. I wanted to give others a chance to creatively dig deep to understand their innerselves, what they wanted for themselves, and start the healing process to make those things happen. Who knew being creative, using scissors, construction paper, and magazines can make you tap into your higher self? I made a business out of helping people using vision books and that is now my passion.

It makes me feel special to be able to share my craft with the world and for me to care deeply enough to make sure everyone else is on their own path to greatness. My vision book is like a safe place for people to place what they need to see to believe inside of it. The content inside of the book includes:
- Who are you? (Visualize, then Create)
- Goals (Visualize, then Create)
- Family (Visualize, then Create)
- School, Work, Business (Visualize, then Create)
- Gratitudes (Visualize, then Create)
- Letters (Write them to God, yourself, future husband/wife, future kids)
- Life Lessons
- Meditating Activities
- Visualization Activities
- Tips
- Daily Affirmations
I am extremely proud to turn my personal art project into something the world can benefit from.
