How To Promote Your Content To Get 1000 Views And Make $500
It is not just about social media
You have spent a lot of time on content writing. You have collected data from both online and offline sources. You have given hours to writing and now want to promote your work to make decent money. Am I right? Well, this is what we all do throughout the week. Writing a piece or two is not enough. We, the freelance writers, need to find the best places where our work can get visibility, and based on how many views/reads we've received, we can earn a lot or a little money. I know most of you promote your work on traditional social media accounts, especially Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin. What if you don't have enough followers on social media? Won't it be a waste of time because you will have to ask others over and over again to give your story a read? I think we should say goodbye to social media sites because there are many interesting ways to promote content. Here I am giving a couple of options to get you started.
Email Broadcast
If you carefully look at the stories of professional content creators, you will get to know that they promote their paid courses or other things through their work. Of course, not all of them do so but a vast majority is definitely involved in this thing. Besides, they spare time every day to promote their products, services, goods, and content via emails. The truth is that they have spent months and even years building audiences and gaining subscribers. You can do the same. When people read your emails and click on the given links, direct traffic will be sent to your stories. In this way, you get many more views/reads and may easily and quickly make $500. Some of the best ideas to share your articles through email are drip campaigns, newsletter, confirmation and thank you emails, email signatures, and product updates.
Reward Or Referral Programs
You can go with this option if you want to spend some money on the promotion of your stuff. I suggest you host a webinar and ask attendees to refer one or more friends. It will benefit them and you because you will get maximum exposure and they may make good money. If money is not possible to be given, you can give them free e-books or discounts on some things. Try to find maximum ways to ask people to refer their friends and family to your newsletter or network. In order to get the best out of this option, you should consider giving some sorts of cash prizes or other rewards. You can also provide incentives for sharing your work and spreading the word. The best and most appropriate sites for this purpose are Reddit, Quora, and Growthhackers.
Paid Ads
Last but not least, there is an option called paid ads. I know you will think that there is no need to try paid ads when there are a bunch of free options. Let me tell you that top brands, businessmen, and freelancers promote their content and a variety of things via paid ads on Linkedin, Twitter, and Facebook. You can set your budget and display ads to get many clicks and views within hours. Paid posts are beneficial because your work will be seen and read by only chosen or targeted people. In some situations, paid posts come under the category of pay-per-click (PPC). It means you will be charged every time a user clicks on your ad and views the content. I suggest you use a strong and impressive image and specific keywords while promoting your stories via this method. Also, you have to ensure that the text of your ad is compelling and useful to the target audience.
Do you think we should try these methods or social media sites are better?
