Challenging Myself to Wake up at 4 am Every Day
Will this change my life?
Waking up early is the key to getting things done. I’m telling you, I know it’s hard to wake up and work, but when you do, come back and thank me.
I am done with work by 9 am when I wake up at 4am. I end up not having any work to do for the rest of the day. Which allows me to focus on spending time with friends, chilling by the pool, or reading. Sometimes I relax for the whole day after completing my important tasks in the morning.
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve just started this early wake up call stuff, I used to wake up early and go all in everyday however, I’ve lost motivation recently so now, I wake up early, pray, and then go back to sleep.
I challenged myself for 30 days to wake up at 4 and work. It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I recommend this to everyone. Trust me, it’s the best thing you can do for yourself.
This morning, I decided to go all out and set a challenge for myself for the rest of the year. My goal is to wake up early every day of the week for the rest of the year.
No breaks.
I find that when I take a break to sleep in, I struggle to get back on track.
So, here’s the plan:
- Wake up 4
- Pray
- Journal
- Stretch
- Drink water
- Work
- Three or four deep work sessions
- Done by 9
- Shower
- Eat
- Go to the gym
- Relax and read
- Swim
- Eat again
- Relax and read
- Go for a a walk
- Hang out at the park or mall
- Shower
- Sleep by 9pm
Back at it again!
This is a really powerful routine, and trust me you’ll get so much done in this time.
