Eye-Opening Experience
A couple of years ago, I moved into a new apartment. I was thrilled, but soon I noticed something wasn’t right. The place felt gloomy and uninspiring. My energy dipped, and I just couldn’t shake off the blues. It hit me one morning—my place was seriously lacking natural light.
Light Bulb Moment: I started opening the blinds first thing in the morning and swapped out my heavy curtains for airy, sheer ones. The difference was like night and day. Literally! Suddenly, my mornings felt brighter, and I felt more alive and ready to tackle the day.
Creating My Perfect Workspace
As someone who works from home, I realized that my workspace was just as important as any office. Initially, my dimly lit home office was draining my productivity and leaving me with headaches by midday.
Bright Idea: I invested in adjustable blinds to manage glare and got myself a daylight lamp. This setup transformed my workspace into a bright, comfortable haven that kept me focused and headache-free. My productivity soared, and I felt more engaged with my work.
Magic of Evening Light
Evenings are my chill time, where I unwind and let go of the day’s stress. But my overhead lights were doing the opposite—they were too harsh and far from relaxing.
