Lose Weight

A lot of people have a very hard time finding the time to work out on a regular basis, which often results in them gaining more weight than they lose. If you’re one of these people, take heart! Even if you don’t have a lot of time to spend exercising, you can still fit in some 7 minute workouts that will help you to shed those unwanted pounds and get into shape.

Are you ready?

Body weight exercises work your body all at once rather than isolating muscles, so it’s a great way to lose weight and get fit quickly. The catch? Finding time. That’s where these 7-minute workouts come in: they let you focus on strength training and conditioning in short bursts throughout your day. If you only have time for one exercise session a week, make it a seven-minute workout.

Workout 1

Ab Roller – 7 Minutes (41 calories) – An ab roller is a great piece of equipment for toning your core and trimming your waistline. The exercise works every muscle in your midsection, which can give you a very lean look. The motion will also help improve your posture, making you stand up straight. The secret to getting great results with an ab roller is all about how you do it, so don’t just do it any way that comes naturally. Instead use these techniques: 1.

Workout 2

Try seven minutes of tricep dips. That’s right, just 7 minutes! It might not seem like much, but it’s a good way to get your heart rate up and works muscle groups in your arms that you don’t always work when you do other exercises.

Workout 3

Get in shape with 7-minute workouts: It doesn’t get any more quick and effective than a 7-minute workout. This efficient routine will have you sweating bullets, sculpting your arms, shoulders, chest, abs and legs in minutes—not hours. Plus, these exercises will boost metabolism for more fat loss all day long! Choose from three total-body workouts—just pick one or mix them up over time.

Workout 4

Leg Workout. Leg workouts are a great way to burn off fat and get a lean body in no time. It's just 7 minutes, but that's all you need for each of these exercises. You will be breathing hard, but not as much as if you were doing an actual hour-long workout session, so don't worry about it! Grab a chair or something sturdy, squat down on your chair (or on your feet), and perform exercises 1-4 from video 1 above.

Workout 5

For an exercise that burns a lot of calories while building upper-body strength, try Seated Rows. Simply sit on a bench with dumbbells in each hand and lift them up toward your chest (by your shoulders). Pause for a few seconds at top of movement, then slowly lower down until your arms are fully extended. That’s one rep. Do 8–10 reps. If you find you can do more than 10 reps, add some weight onto those dumbbells!

Bonus Exercise - Jumping Rope

This is a great exercise that uses your arms and legs while allowing you to lose weight. You’ll want to start with one minute of jumping rope. After that, walk for 30 seconds, then jump rope for another minute. Keep alternating for seven minutes straight. This can be done anywhere; at home, at work or even in a hotel room when traveling for business. Just remember, jumping rope burns calories so don’t forget your sports drink!
